15/8/2012 11:43 | I just sold a third of mine for 719 ; I think I will be buying them back soon at a small discount. And if I am wrong and it is a real bid , then I still hold 2/3rds. I hate to watch a share surge and fall , and make nothing from it. | wad collector
15/8/2012 09:44 | not all bogus rumours stick. but well done that man for creating a temporary spike on light summer volume. there are some slick operators in the city. | careful
15/8/2012 09:25 | Cynical and mocking piece on yesterdays activity. | brain smiley
14/8/2012 17:12 | 20m shares traded or approx £140m worth, on the back of a mail puff?? Surely something more to this!! | cool runnings
14/8/2012 17:00 | SVT and PNN had exactly the same spike between 11 and 12. In all three cases the price at noon was almost identical to the price at 11am but in the case of SVT they pretty much flat-lined for the rest of the day, PNN gradually crept back up and recovered over a third of the 11-12 peak whereas UU gradually declined and closed at a lower price than it was at 11am. All very odd!! | andyash
14/8/2012 16:52 | was that spike to 816 for real??? | jon827
14/8/2012 16:10 | You missed the "humble" bit out. Todays chart is a good skyline though. | wad collector

14/8/2012 12:41 | aha i see, sorry haha what a waste at least for every 10K lost the bookie might give you a t-shirt ... "next time you win Timmy boy"! Anyway. | aleks_atanasov
14/8/2012 12:24 | not a chance, he can keep his dirty fing hands off. Id rather short ladbrokes than exchange cash for a worthless bit of paper with no credentials for a 3.15 tip at Epsom or play their stupid "eletronic dog track" - what muppet would do that for..? | edgefund
14/8/2012 12:20 | Edge - you are the man then - your bookie loves ya! | aleks_atanasov
14/8/2012 12:15 | kibes trouble is all the politics which goes with it.....nothing is owned by GKP if it is still in the ground, and those with a stake will make their national claim. | edgefund
14/8/2012 12:13 | lets not forget that 6-7% profit in a day on 10k is not a bad days work right? Then being on the "edge" is what excites and drives me. its worth a short again near the next high, trouble is guestimating with charts and all that balls | edgefund
14/8/2012 12:10 | smurfy - GKP has possibly 10 billion barrels of oil recoverable - worth a staggering $1 trillion at $100/bbl. And UU. is a regulated utility with lots of debt. Not exactly comparable! | kibes
14/8/2012 12:05 | EdgeFund - man you are really a "Fund" .. tho technically you are losing less money than 99.99% of them. why on earth would someone initiate a trade if the maximum gain is 6-7% 740p - 690p? and lets not forget why would someone short a bid target... | aleks_atanasov
14/8/2012 12:01 | From 800p to 735, that's why l don't chase. If this get's anywhere near 900p, i'll be tempted to short. | smurfy2001
14/8/2012 12:00 | oooops nope..... Time for a swift exit - bring out the short. 5k should do it | edgefund
14/8/2012 11:58 | support at 7.40? | edgefund
14/8/2012 11:57 | no no, GKP is different animal its impossible to see this dog going from the lower left hand to the upper right hand of the graph...say in the next month. it will be all done and dusted by tomorrow morning.. either way! | aleks_atanasov
14/8/2012 11:54 | Just look at the GKP buyout rumour and what happened afterwards. Agree the P/E is high but who knows, hence why it's interesting to watch at a distance. | smurfy2001
14/8/2012 11:52 | Looks like the Grand Old Duke of York has been in the market too | benchmark |
