technically they arent reacquired to RNS if its false so if by tomorrow morning something doesn't hit the wires - the market will know its false... until the next time a teen trader starts a rumor to cover his ass.

Just wondering why a buyer would want to buy this at the current price with a p/e ratio around 17 - that is already too high for a regulated utility.

yes nothing guaranteed with shares could just as easily fall right back down if the rns comes out and says no truth what so ever.

I to was taken out of IPR. If uu. does get taken out, so be it. I'm nicely loaded in RSA and SBRY who could also be taken out but pay good divs in the meantime. Just have to move on.

I am gutted, don't get me wrong I am pleased they are going up I am 28% up plus all the divs., I am gutted because I have just been taken over in IPR, do not want to loose this safe haven as well, also hate to see our utilities go overseas, prices will rocket and services decline.

Thing I have found again and again good shares just keep going up because they are in demand where as poor performers carry on falling.

Many pi's do the oppisite keep the losers in the "hope" things will come right and sell the winners,not meaning to sound smug have made similar mistakes myself :)

First bought uu. in Feb 2011 at 581 and paid a top price of 605 and its given a 28% return (cap and div). Only my ULVR and GSK are doing better. Can see no good reason to sell prior to anticipation of the next boom, whatsoever.

On the other hand, on the same div and cap basis I'm down 13% on AV. I'm sitting tight on those.
