05/11/2016 10:53 | moneymunch Since when have I "claimed that HH would be lucky to produce ONE barrel of oil per day"? When have I ever bashed this share? Please give evidence. Please give evidence that I am aligned with TW. You will do anything to deflect from real facts IMO and give misleading information. here is one example "as the flowtest earlier this year produced over 1,600bopd" What you failed to mention is that the 1600 bopd was not at the same time but a total over 3 different levels and pressures at different times. I don't know of one well where they produce from different levels at different pressures as it would probably destroy the well. I definitely don't know of a well that produces from pump and naturally over different levels at the same time. Perhaps you would care to edit post 6266. | beebong1
05/11/2016 10:35 | And there you have it. Simple question, moneymunch answer. To normal people; Is Angus admission to AIM an IPO? Answers on a stamp will do! means a yes or no IMO. moneymunch will never give a yes or no as it means making a decision that may (normally does) backfire on him. So lets ask the question again. moneymunch 1) Is Angus admission to AIM an IPO? 2) If the answer is yes please supply website where we can see this "public offering" PS Schedule 1 is an admission document to AIM | beebong1

05/11/2016 08:40 | With all this debate over Planning--can you really imagine that this will not go ahead because of a few protestors and water pollution ( which they will get over I am sure) With the enormous potential not only for the British economy but having home grown energy supplies this is a no brainer. All such large developments always have hiccups and stumbling blocks, but if the Govt sees this as a winner for Britain this will go ahead make no mistake, just may take a little longer , and we have waited long enough up until now so a little longer will not matter. | ![]() mikeygit
05/11/2016 08:27 | ps charlimike, the reason why beewrong is "quite prominent" on this thread is because he is the resident sharebasher and as such will always have a negative viewpoint, and along with his band of lowlife cohorts aligned to TW, claimed that HH would be lucky to produce ONE barrel of oil per day...of course they were wrong, as the flowtest earlier this year produced over 1,600bopd. Everyone now know's that there is a considerable amount of oil in place and that the oil saturated Kimmeridge shale interval has the potential for vast recoverable volume via the the three limestone strata that runs through it........there's no guarantee of success, but the risk reward looks firmly in our favour, and the planned extended flowtests at HH will confirm how much will be recoverable and so positive results will be transformational for all concerned. The UK Govt. is pushing ahead the fracking of the Northern Shale Gas prospects for future UK energy security, and so if the oil in the Southern Shale Oil is recoverable in commercial volume by the planned "conventional" extraction, then the new Govt. will be keen on its development to provide potential billions of £'s revenue. The biggest oil field in Western Europe is at Wytch Farm, which has produced oil in massive volume for 30 years, peak production of 110,000bopd and still producing 18,000bopd today from 13 well sites dotted around the pristine natural beauty area of Poole Harbour, positioned within nature reserves, with an outstanding safety record where the majority of the public are oblivious to its existence.......Wytc Ukog and the other players including those invloved at Brockham offer amazing upside on success, there is no doubting that the oil is there and we shold get a very good idea how much is recoverable this coming year, and so in the meantime plenty of upside from this current bargain low as newsflow arrives in preparation. 05/11/2016 07:50 | Lol know it all beewrong, why don't you enlighten us on why Angus Energy's listing on AIM isn't an IPO......which is exactly how the Telegraph reported on Angus back in Febuary when they decided to pull their AIM listing at that time. "The IPO that was cancelled in the UK was Angus Energy, which had hoped to float on London's junior Aim market. " Which Market? The choice of market for the initial public offering (IPO)is extremely important and it may impact on the commercial success of the IPO itself. | ![]() moneymunch
04/11/2016 16:55 | The MPA must decide minor planning applications within 8 weeks and major applications (requiring an EIA) within 16 weeks. The committee can refuse the application, grant planning permission, or defer the application. Any planning permission will usually be granted subject to conditions and a section 106 agreement. • If a planning application is refused, the applicant has up to six months to lodge an appeal. Third parties do not have a right to appeal. Instead, the remedy to challenge the MPA’s decision to grant planning permission is by way of Judicial Review. | beebong1
04/11/2016 16:26 | mikeygit I thought that was only for shale gas and that it would be an appeal to a high court for normal drilling. e.g. Holmwood did not go to govt. I'll try and find the SI over the weekend. Communities Secretary Greg Clark said: There is huge potential right across the country for safe and sustainable use of shale gas, to provide a clean long term energy source and create British jobs and growth. People’s safety and the environment will remain paramount and communities will always be involved in planning applications but no one benefits from uncertainty caused by delays in planning decisions. By fast tracking any appropriate applications today’s changes will tackle potential hold ups in the system." "Today’s measures include: The Communities Secretary actively considering calling in on a case by case basis shale planning applications and considering recovering appeals Identifying councils that repeatedly fail to determine oil and gas applications within the 16 week statutory timeframe requirement (unless applicants agree to a longer period). Underperforming councils’ gas and oil planning applications could be determined by the Communities Secretary Adding shale applications as a specific criterion for recovery of appeals, to ensure no application can ‘fall through the cracks’ Ensuring planning call ins and appeals involving shale applications are prioritised by the Planning Inspectorate Taking forward work on revising permitted development rights for drilling boreholes for groundwater monitoring." | beebong1
04/11/2016 15:33 | Planning can be a very complex issue. IF Planning is refused, then the oil companies in this Group will appeal to central govt.IMHO the Govt is highly unlikely to refuse plans for oil that will be a boost to the economy and revenue from taxes--it should be remembered that any costs incurred from the Appeal would be charged to the relevant Local Authority and it is doubtful that the Local Authority would be happy about this. So any initial refusal would probably mean that the stumbling block would be talked over by Planning and Ukog/Dor etc so that when it goes to Planning again to be reviewed it should be plain sailing. Thats how I read it having been on Local Authority Committees many years ago when I lived in the UK | ![]() mikeygit
