04/11/2016 14:54 | drillordrop.com/2016 On the down side Environment Agency calls for refusal of Markwells Wood oil production plans over risks to water but still worth a read IMO | beebong1
04/11/2016 14:52 | drillordrop.com/2016 Nice to see someone else has done all the work lol Horse Hill new oil drilling and testing plans published Well worth a read IMO. | beebong1
04/11/2016 14:28 | The oil is there. The question is as you say "can they get it out?". The fact that they did not go into production after drilling and then again after well testing earlier this year is a clue to me that they either don't know or are concerned from what they found and can they make a profit. The whole idea of an extended well test is to see how well it will flow for a prolonged period without producing water as well and what the decline rate will be. Production from Brockham, Palmers Wood and other Weald Basin oilfields have hardly set the world on fire so far. They found oil at Collendean and the well TD's are very close but Collendean was not profitable at that time according to Esso. You pay your money and take your chances with any oil company, especially one opening up a new field . Even drilling in a producing field does not guarantee anything. Just look at LGO and TRP SP's in 2015. Much has been said about no water in the oil but this was reported in a RNS "Flow commenced at around 10.00am GMT yesterday at an initial instantaneous rate in excess of 700 barrels per day using a 1-inch choke, in an approximate mix of 50:50 oil to water. The well was then choked back to 32/64 inches resulting in a steady early oil rate in excess of 463 barrels of oil per day over a further 7.3-hour period, in an approximate mix of over 99% oil and less than 1% water." So until they actually do an extended well test I remain sceptical. My money, my risk. edit PS Other producing and non-producing oil and gas companies are available to invest in. | beebong1
04/11/2016 13:07 | Is Angus admission to AIM an IPO? Answers on a stamp will do! David Lenigas @DavidLenigas @Jamzyee DOR has 10% of Brockham and 10% of Horse Hill and 20% of Lidsey (maybe going to 30%). DOR is my bet on Weald oil. Yet another BOD ramping. DOR do not have 10% of Horse Hill. They have 10% of HHDL. No wonder rampers get such a bad reputation ;o) | beebong1
04/11/2016 07:45 | David Lenigas @DavidLenigas Every day is one day closer to seeing what the real Weald Basin #oil potential is for the #UK. #Brockham @DoriemusPlc #AngusEnergy Exciting! | ![]() moneymunch

03/11/2016 18:13 | mikeygit Is that the TRP that sank it's share price in the South Atlantic? I had a look at them and didn't bother as all the ramping and real evidence pointed towards a duster IMO. I thought the oil floating on the sea was the best one and I'll bet loads fell for it. I spent 5 years offshore in the Gulf supplying and moving rigs so have some knowledge of what was really happens. | beebong1

02/11/2016 16:05 | Lol the only thing that was hurting was my head this morning after too much vino watching City beat Barcelona.....it's pretty evident that approval for Brockham's sidetrack will be straight forward judging by past history at Brockham which has an exemplary safety record with not one listed complaint. 02/11/2016 14:50 | Pram must be empty of toys again. I see moneymunch was in rant mode again last night. Always a good sign that he is wrong and the truth really must hurt IMO. Basic onshore well data - (updated 13/06/2016) (MS Excel Spreadsheet, 252KB) www.gov.uk/governmen The landwells register, note the word "well" being used on a number of occasions, has Brockham having drilled 6 "wells" so by my calculation that is the lot under the '95 agreement. Even the definition of sidetrack calls it a well or wellbore. moneymunch gets it wrong again IMO. PS Why did they apply for planning permission in 2007 to drill a new well and sidetrack if planning permission was supposedly granted? PPS That is another 2 wells IMO. 02/11/2016 07:54 | Permission at Brockham was given for "further appraisal and drilling of up to 5 additional wells" so far they have drilled 2 wells, and so the planned sidetrack through an existing well bore should be a formality given their entitlement for another three wells if they wish. Gla holders......looking forward to Angus Energy's IPO listing on AIM on 14th November, and news from Greenland on data analysis from the graphite and gold aerial EM survey must be close with Alba taking full control this Friday. Exciting times. ;-) Surrey County Council Planning Permission (Ref: MO86/1112) was originally granted for an exploratory oil well site and access road in May 1987. Later on that same year, an exploratory borehole, Brockham 1, was drilled which identified hydrocarbon deposits. Approximately 70-80 barrels of oil were produced per day from May to September 1988. The equipment was then removed from the site pending an evaluation of the test. Following a series of temporary permissions to retain the site, planning permission ( Ref: MO92/0969) was granted in January 1995 for the retention of the existing well site for further appraisal and drilling of up to 5 additional wells, installation of production and road tanker facilities. This planning permission was subject to a legal agreement dated 9 January 1995, ensuring improvements were made to the local highway, in respect of lay-bys and passing places. | ![]() moneymunch
