10/10/2016 08:23 | No mention of of 3D seismic made during the interview with SS. "PEDL246 Horse Hill Development RA (Retention Area) acquire new 3D seismic by 30 June 2017, drill Horse Hill 1 sidetrack by 30 September 2017" These were the conditions made by the OGA back in June so I would have expected them to carry out 3D of HH prior to drilling the two new wells. Why drill blind when you can get the latest picture of where the oil is. | beebong1

09/10/2016 10:34 | Last year they delayed finals until ewt had started. I don't think they have that latitude this year so will have to time it with some other good news. The beauty of getting a thumbs down is that I know I am on the right track as the other person does not have a logical answer to the truth. Do I really need to pay £6.72 when I can do it for free and get more satisfaction from it! | beebong1

09/10/2016 09:06 | So much for Q4. PFT looks like it will be March 2017 at the earliest and only last 6 months. I'll go for April earliest as they have not hit one target date yet on this project and from what SS was saying it won't be 24/7 operations; 9-5, 5 days a week more likely IMO. Key words were reducing and light and noise shielding for the locals. Add on 4 - 6 months from start and they could have results from August onwards. | beebong1

08/10/2016 07:35 | We know that applications were in preparation in December 2015.....Ukog's statement 6 months later from their Final Results in June 2016 suggests that Angus already have the permit.....Get ready for some serious upside for Alba , which will undoubtedly benefit Ukog, on imminent news from Brockham. Gla ;-) Lidsey and Brockham Producing Oil Fields: Angus Energy Limited (”Angus Energy”) UKOG has a 6% share ownership of Angus Energy, which operates and produces oil from both the Lidsey and Brockham oil fields in the Weald Basin. The Brockham field is the closest analogous Portland sandstone producing oil field to the Horse Hill-1 Portland sandstone discovery. Lidsey produces from the same Great Oolite limestone reservoir as UKOG’s Horndean and Avington oil fields and the Markwells Wood and Baxter’s Copse oil discoveries. Angus Energy plans to drill a side -track at Brockham, possibly to test the Kimmeridge Limestones and a new well at Lidsey We understand that OGA consent to drill the Brockham side track has been obtained. | ![]() moneymunch

07/10/2016 10:58 | Speech by Baroness Neville-Rolfe, Minister of State for Energy and Intellectual Property, at Clean Energy Live, Birmingham NEC www.gov.uk/governmen Oil not mentioned. Gas mentioned once (reference to gas leak in US). Top of the pops; solar with 20 mentions storage; 17 mentions All well and good for those that have shares in lithium deposits, nod, nod, wink, wink. | beebong1
07/10/2016 08:02 | Ho Ho Ho. Even with a recent price rise I'm not even paying paying 40p a litre. Think it was about £1.40 a litre last time I was in the UK. Careful what you ask for as POO affects all travel and a big proportion of production costs. | beebong1

06/10/2016 21:10 | Cheers wisteria, the most perfect storm approaches...;-) ps mikey, initially it will mean any application and approval for conventional extraction ( which is Ukog's development plans for the Kimmeridge, which actually lies above the permitted depth for fracking ) will be straightforward with little reason for objection, now that approval for fracking is finally underway.....which is a clear indication by the new Govt. of their intention to make good of the UK's resources that will provide future energy security and billions £'s revenue, which will undoubtedly include the Southern Shale Oil reserves. Secondly, if fracking eventually becomes the norm, then this will open up the rest of Ukog's license area's.......the oil doesn't stop at the bottom of the Kimmeridge Interval, it carries on through various other oil saturated shale layers for a further 2/3rds more than the depth of the Kimmeridge.......far below the permitted fracking depth, and so mind boggling future potential. 06/10/2016 20:05 | Do not know why UKOG holders are so interested in the fracking news?? Or am I missing something? No intention of fracking in The Weald so should be of no interest to us other than Govt is supporting UK energy sources. | ![]() mikeygit
