Didn't realise they'd drawn down so much from the Glencore facility. That's an insane interest rate.

Was chatting with a fellow who worked for Tullow over the weekend. He reckoned it fell apart when it moved from the Irish stock exchange to the UK and turned from a lean operation to the current bloated shareholder parasite that it is now.

For someone who holds no shares you seem to have a bit of a negative view posting away on here most days?

Worth reminding on gross debt. TLW would have made a mandatory repayment of $100m due 15/5/2024 on the 2026 bonds, but even so gross debt still about $2bn here:-

afaics
2025 Bonds: $492m outstanding @ 7%
2026 Bonds: $1,385m outstanding @ 10.25%
Glencore facility: $130m drawn @ 15.4% [SOFR + 10%]

that is a lot of debt on which interest is being paid!

Well Total and Africa Oil are only still part of the JV in so far as non-facilitative Kenya haven't approved the exit paperwork yet. Creating even further delay, as should one, or both Indian companies actually wish to participate, then they can't enter until the others have left. Thing is, nobody actually knows if the Indians are interested, or not!

That's a great update from the Ghanaians. They are getting everything they can from the fields and will even be supplying sub Sahara regions. The new profect is expected to be delivered on time as well.

"Ghana Gas seeks investors for second gas processing plant. Ghana Gas is still working on the fine print of its project, announced with great fanfare in February 2023...."

Sounds like unlikely to be up and running before 2026/7 at the earliest? Would imagine Atuabo GPP II is essential kit to decarbonise TLW's oil production to reach net zero targets?

You mean the UT's? Well the 3m+ one was "interesting" given the way the share price looked like it might be about to breakout at that point. It was "interesting" as TLW UT's tend to be kind of 300K to 500K. If you are asking me if I think, or thought, someone is/was closing a short. Haven't a clue. I'm not expert in the dark arts of discerning if trades are buys or sells. All I can see is that the last change in shorts was about 6 wks ago according to shortracker.
