MCS it's likely that various Market Participants could be working in conjunction to fill it.

It won't be visible on the order book, what we're seeing are the effects rather than the cause.

It's got all the classic hallmarks. But it's good news after all, no?

MCS - if it's a limit order, it will have to be filled at a pre-determined price, this is why it's weighing on the price imo. There was another large buy from yesterday published right before today's open.
I'm thinking once it gets filled, we could then start to see the MM's bidding a bit stronger, taking us towards 40p.

Edit - looks like 37p will be tested again today.....

If that's the case, why are traders not pushing up the price? Doesn't make sense they could hold the price back this long if there's a value proposition.

Yes I believe there's still a large limit buy order working through (which is large enough to be keeping a lid on the sp) - last Friday saw some large blocks being reported at the close....

I've been watching the O/B this week and I believe there's a large buy order working it's way through which might get published later.

I'm hopeful that we'll see an attack on 40p over the next few sessions.

2 x 349,000 at 36.29p just went through. Dunno what those trades mean?

Sadly we have to rely on other sources of information, e.g. PIAC, Petrocom, Kosmos Energy, Africa Oil etc to get a better understanding of what's really going on, rather than relying on whatever the company deem to tell us, or not tell us!

When we get the next Ghana production update be interesting to see how ENI are doing
and if they encounter the same problems as Tullow with decline in Ghana
They did have some drilling planned then postponed it.
