Ah, all clear now....I just scrolled back a page and saw that Badger is desperately ramping Enquest. Got to be that wally from LSE called Ammu or Ammo who wets his knickers if Enq shows any sign of life whatsoever. Go on Badger, downvote this post as well, you utter cretin.

LOL. people on the LSE board have been putting the boot into TLW for directors not buying shares.....and now we have one c-unit on here saying directors buying means something sinister is afoot. I think I'll stop reading this and LSE....there's so many wannabe Gordon Geckos spreading utter sh1te - just to 'further' their position.

Thanks for digging that up Bootycall. Doesn't look like ENI/Total's block has been impacted judging by this ITLOS settlement map

Kenya have lost a large chunk though, assuming that is final?

What a load of piffle. Any initial discovery offshore would take years to delineate and get to FID. I thought the whole area bordering offshore Somalia is subject to a territorial dispute anyhow ..which has already ruled in favour of Somalia … and we all know how much fun it is waiting for ITLOS tribunals. This sounds a little kite flying too me …maybe someone trying to buy our stake ? Or the Government trying to hold on to its precarious legal position . Having said that, I have not looked into this in detail and it would not be a surprise to have commercial hydrocarbons offshore. Normally , however , you have to drill more wells to show a viable project. Booty

When insiders are buying it's either a desperate attempt to shore up a falling market cap or a complete act of stupidity: all exclusive to this dogNormally it's the opposite in a well run comps with competency at the top. The pong from the last team still reeks

Tlw didn't gain on the massive hike in oil prices so its only fair it crashes on oil falling back, lol. Of course the mms will spike the price back up shortly once they have their shares.

A marker for Kenya would be if the Government started handing out cash for land acquisition, this process was due to start in November 2021?

Hope they don't find anything offshore Kenya as Total are also in on the drill! The block in question is adjacent Tanzania.

Rich Lamu oil prospects fuel Kenya's economic plans dreams

Eni’s drillship SAIPEM 12000 has been on location within Block L11B since late December 2021, when it started drilling, and is expected to complete operations this month.

If the drilling is successful, there is a high probability that the South Lokichar basin discoveries will take a back seat because the Mlima 1 prospect will have a more significant economic benefit to the country and will be easier to develop,” she added.

The basin lies within the disputed territory with Somalia.
