Nicked and factual:

That’s it dish out $76 million of our money, in 14 days, no appeal, WTF

Where’s our $75Million due on Uganda FID???

No mention of this?

Seems to me that the Board are only dishing out the bad news.

Questions need answering by the board.

1. Guyana Drill Q2 - Still no farm-in?
2. Kenya Development - Still no strategic partner?
3. $75 FID - Still no payment?
4. Ghana - Still no Tax agreement?
5. Ghana - Pre-emptive agreement still not happened.
6. Who will replace Les, 6 weeks to go, still no update?

If everyone emails IR we may get some answers.

And there we have it, not as bad as usual, but a traditional daily kick down at close.

Appallingly bent, this stock.

What's the betting we will get the sudden corrupt for no reason, customary spike down at close ?

We can see it, so why is Rual and the FSA not looking into who is manipulating the share price at close?

At least we know what supressed the price so hard. It's out now. Unexpected 76m cost. Heads up, just like another duster drill, or 1/20 of costs in past kenya exploration. Oil price will compensate it.

Result of Arbitration with HiTec Vision

15 February 2022 - Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) announces that a panel of arbitrators, working under the jurisdiction of Norwegian law, has delivered an award in favour of HiTec Vision (HiTec) in relation to its dispute with Tullow (Award). The panel had been asked to adjudicate as to whether discoveries made in the PL-537 Licence (Offshore Norway) between 2013 and 2016 had triggered a further payment under the SPA between Tullow and HiTec regarding the purchase of Spring Energy in 2013. With the Award, the panel has decided by way of split decision that conditions for a further payment outlined in the SPA were met. The Tribunal has ruled that Tullow should pay c.$76 million within the next 14 days. This amount also includes interest and costs. The Award is final and binding.

Tullow will pay the Award from its current cash balances.

Could have been a lot more...HitecVision is pleased to announce the sale of Spring Energy AS to Tullow Oil plc for a total consideration of USD 372.3 million on a 100% enterprise value basis, which will be adjusted for working capital. In addition to the cash payment on closing there is a deferred contribution of up to USD 300 million, contingent on future well results.

I filled up yesterday ---- £1.45 per litre --- Ouch!

Oil is getting very expensive again. The cash is rolling in again for oil companies. Under investment in new wells is slowly starting to show and this is just the beginning...

European stocks set to retreat slightly as Russia-Ukraine concerns persist

Key Points

Markets around the world have been roiled over the past week by a ratcheting up of tensions in eastern Europe and concerns that the U.S. Federal Reserve could be forced to tighten monetary policy more aggressively than hoped, following the highest annual inflation print since 1982.

Earnings remain a key driver of individual share price movement in Europe, with Glencore, Engie, Randstad and DSM among the companies reporting before the bell on Tuesday.

LONDON – European stocks are set for a cautious open on Tuesday as global investors continue to monitor the geopolitical situation in Ukraine.

Britain’s FTSE 100 is seen around 31 points lower at 7,501, Germany’s DAX is set to slide around 82 points to 15,032 and France’s CAC 40 is expected to drop around 38 points to 6,814, according to IG data.

Oil is the best Hedge at the moment. Tullow still has about 30% daily output linked to the oil price so the cash/profit is climbing...
