I glanced through and saw a comment wondering what I was up to..

Do I like this.... Hell No..
But, the portfolio of exploration is still good.
Fields operated by partners are still good.
Forecast for next three years is still good (Albeit guidance is down by circa 10%)

Its an absolute mess... Its a disaster...

I have therefore added another token gesture £60k at .5775 and £20k @ .575 which has bought my average down to a figure which I believe will easily be surpassed.

Dont fret :-)

Unbelievable despicable traits.

Sell, going to zero, get out quick, dusters, abandon ship..

Im now in, bottom reached, shorts closing, expect rebound, buy buy buy..

Anyone taking notice of posts (Including mine) need to do so with suspicion. Does the author have vested interest.

But through it all who should we believe?
The CEO?
Well thats a dead duck then..
Maybe the relief chair... someone who has sat on boards such as Powergen, Drax, Bank Of England?
Enter Ms Thompson CBE... and what does she have to say???

hxxps://www.bankofengland.co.uk/about/people/dorothy-thompson/biography

Well what she said was surely enough to send shockwaves, but as much destruction as this? I personally would say No Way... Even £1.00 is a figure which would still mean TLW was hammered harshly...

IC - "showed heavy crude oil at Joe and Jethro instead of the expected light oil."

Heavy crude oil? There is nothing wrong with heavy crude provided it is sweet not sour - Australian Heavy sweet crude production is currently attracting more than a $17 premium to dated Brent from SE Asian marine fuel processors.

DATAIT...

Free cash flow is expected to come in at a minimum of $150 million next year at an oil price of $60 a barrel , less than half of this year's expected $350 million. The group also slashed its capital expenditure programme and cut costs at its operating fields.

Tullow has $300 million in debt due in 2021 and a further $650 million in 2022.

Tullow's chief financial officer, Les Wood, said the group was "comfortable" with its covenants with banks.

..........

Do the numbers. Tullow won't have enough FCF to meet the $300m debt repayment due in 2021 let alone the 2022 repayment.

A refinancing / Equity placing is on the cards here.

The company will be pumping oil just for Cap Ex and to service their debts now.
