My reason is if its not suspended the shorts will continue knocking it down.

And is that such a bad thing, as currently there are no disclosed short holdings so they will likely be CFD's and SB's.
People playing leveraged positions who when the tide turns we know how quickly it can turn.
As quickly as it has dropped it can rebound..

New CEO announcement?
Heavy oil announced as commercially viable?
Carapa comes in sweet?
Sale of some assets?

Stop panicking (Although I believe you said you do not have a position)
Let the market sort itself out.
Lots of money to be lost and made here.

I dont follow tullow in detail, but I do agree the disconnect between bond and equity performance today makes me wonder.Bonds should have fallen off cliff, possibly a smaller one too.So I wouldn't be surprised to see equity recover some.Be interesting to see where it's at by FridayAlso if some miraculous good news appears soon Like they in talks had approaches etc etcHuge punt either way not interestedI have only one oil play currently

Nice one... Ireland is what? Lawless? Ms Thompson CBE.... Does she fall into your category of being criminal. Look forward to hearing more about this, as sure as eggs are eggs authorities must be keen to hear of this... I assume you have alerted them to your findings of criminality and knowingly falsifying figures etc.

I glanced through and saw a comment wondering what I was up to..

Do I like this.... Hell No..
But, the portfolio of exploration is still good.
Fields operated by partners are still good.
Forecast for next three years is still good (Albeit guidance is down by circa 10%)

Its an absolute mess... Its a disaster...

I have therefore added another token gesture £60k at .5775 and £20k @ .575 which has bought my average down to a figure which I believe will easily be surpassed.

Dont fret :-)

Pro, I also still think that it is something that needs to be dealt with driectly by TLW rather a 3rd party news piece. Something odd about the way they are handling it. Normally, odd isn't good in this type of situation.

When the new board are announced I wonder if they may announce that the heavy oil find is indeed commercially viable for production and stick that in their caps as first piece of good news.

Its a free market and there is no reason at all to justify suspension.
Its not in financial difficulty.
It has cleared the decks of bad news... News which in fact many of you had been demanding.
I am nursing a loss here, but rather than call for suspension I am using it to my benefit (As I see it) and moving investments around to allow me to take advantage of what I perceive as a great opportunity to buy.
For my detailed reasons why I consider this a buy just read Ms Thompson CBE announcement this morning.

Shall we assume a POO price of $60 (Point at which debt is easily serviceable)
