13/11/2018 15:57 | Yes next support 180p, unless 200p is reclaimed soon. Luckily sold out 210 on a fast trade the other day but not coming back in as just buying more BP for long term blue chipbportfolio with an attractive divi yield | ny boy
13/11/2018 15:40 | Next support around the 180 level | knowing
13/11/2018 15:34 | The share price is listless and needs some vigour from the non directionless management on Thursday. News of the infill drilling in Ghana is already in the market. | mariopeter

10/11/2018 22:35 | It’s not the best article and there’s nothing new in it, and I note it quotes from Panmure, one of the more pessimistic analysts (see his question on marginal tax rates at the end of the last press conference). The article could have been more negative given the Ugandan lack or progress but it failed to mention that Jubilee and TEN have 3 or so great years ahead of them, at or near plateau. Having said all that, I’m currently on the sidelines, looking for the right moment for a trade. | frazboy
10/11/2018 20:17 | Investors Chronicle tip – sell Tullow Oil. “Bear points: large interest payments; unclear long term strategy; exploration focus; poor track record. Bull points: de-gearing; stronger oil price.” The article states the rights issue last year was 212p, which is clearly an error. | c6steve
09/11/2018 20:59 | Blame trump. He conned a post-Kashoggi Saudi Arabia into increasing production to make up for Iran Sanctions. After S. Arabia delivered on that, Trump gave waivers to some major importing countries of Iranian oil, result being the expected drastic shortfall in Iranian oil exports isn't going to happen. | xxnjr1
09/11/2018 15:26 | Oh Dear. Someone needs some new pants. Capitulation. | mariopeter
09/11/2018 14:58 | too good a price to miss | phillis
09/11/2018 14:34 | Bought a few @ 200p for a medium term trade, see what happens, nymex 59.60 decent support here it may hold soon, let’s see. Looking for a 5-10% bounce back. | ny boy
09/11/2018 14:32 | Some very wealthy and important people want the oil price under heel. Don't worry, when they are ready to make a killing it will be allowed back up. Basically Trump pushed Saudi and co to ramp up production to offset Iran sanctioned oil, then just as sanctions are about to start allows eight waivers for 18 months, meaning there will be some oversupply. At the same time China has stopped buying US oil, meaning a build up in the regularly reported US Oil inventories. What you don't see of course is the big, unreported supply draws elsewhere in the world in those places that are now supplying China. | romeike
09/11/2018 14:27 | Looks like more buys than sells so what's going on? | alfiex

08/11/2018 17:25 | Yes sentiment is a long way from Tullow currently. At the whim of some bots and the oil price. Uganda is a significant disappointment(a 210m cash set back actually in current year) The legal case was also a cash set back so projecting net debt of 2.8b for 31st Dec 2018 year end. (FCF for year of 700m) 2019 EBITDAX of 1.3 bill (max prodn Ghana and WA...... 100000 bopd $70 Brent) Capex say £460m Net debt Dec 2019 without Uganda receipts $1.9b of which $1.7 is bonds Nother $10 on Brent throws out extra $300m FCF. | mariopeter
08/11/2018 12:27 | Next update 15th Nov | alfiex |
