Tullow was expecting completion approval in June for Uganda so it drags on! We will get the same problems in Kenya as they introduced Capital gains Tax ,Tullow is an early mover In Uganda and Kenya this is the price we pay SS

Angus has been patiently waiting in the sidings on an overnight sleeper for a while. He'll probably resurface at the CMD.

wrt to latest presentation. The company are forecasting 2018 FCF of $650m, assuming (realized) brent $70 AND Uganda deal worth $250m closes (slide 12). Strip out Uganda, then 2018 FCF reduces to $400m. $401m of that having been generated in the first half (slide 6). In another words @ (realized) $70 oil, 2nd half free cash flow of the underlying business will be negative $1m. Not good is it, given the low cost of services, which may be at the low point now, with cost inflation further down the road.

The old Tullow team are coming together, might be worth keeping an eye on providence resources

I felt that Angus seemed to be side lined in the last presentation sat with the press then answering questions from the floor, just my impression!

teamwork, ifthecapfits - I know its probably not what you mean, but surely for every buy there is somebody that is selling. When a big O type trade goes through their are buyers and sellers, it is simply a transaction at a price - if the transaction price is at the offer it probably means the buyer is the one more interested in making the trade but that is all it really means - obviously the trader on the buy side thinks he is getting a good deal but presumably the trader on the sell side thinks the same otherwise they wouldn't be selling.

Teamwork - it'll come all idc. I see £3.50 nailed on, though you may have to wait a few weeks.

Long re-rate underway and wouldn't discount £4+ by Easter '19

Looks like more buys than sells though, but it should be a lot higher price with debt reducing daily at these oil prices

Maybe profit taking - not aware of any other reasons that would justify a drop when oil price is so strong
It worrying though that Tullow can’t seem To hold on to gains

Is it possibly because of the hedges, perhaps they are committed to selling cheaper than market price?

Ghana started tendering for new oil blocks on 7th September. This years focus is on the western Basin

I think Tullow could tick every box especially if we can tie in to existing facilities.SS
