There are, though, those who reckon that behind the steely rhetoric, producers have softened their stance considerably and that a recovery will come faster. Pavel Molchanov, the senior vice president and energy analyst at Raymond James, told CNBC oil could be as high as $60 by the end of the year."We are not talking about $100 - it's not going back to $100 - but certainly something in the $50 to $60 range. Maybe north of $60 looks like a good bet over the next nine to 12 months," he said.Source the week

The increasing frequency of these oil meetings is imo indicative of something breaking soon.

First this needs to get back above 150p (now resistance) and stay above this level for a week or so.

The March meeting could boost oil prices, early days but starting to think about buying dips here, as long as 150p level has successfully been held.

If oil retains over night for market open and we don't hold a dbl digit % gain tomorrow then this needs a formal investigation into its share price. Red day tomorrow be massive red warning signs... Not that we haven't already had a few. I don't expect one but then didn't on a couple of occasions !!

Reported post market close (BBC)

'Oil prices have reversed losses following a confirmation of a meeting between big oil producers in March.

Venezuelan officials confirmed that Russia, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have agreed to meet next month.'

With Brent at 35.20 we ought to be at 190p. Waiting until they turn the algo manipulation in opposite direction. Should not be long. The greedy xxxxxxx seem to regularly go for 20% share price gains

No operational impact whatsoever has been incurred due to the 'potential' turret issue.

We need the turret issue clearing up. What will it cost and how long will it take? Will there be any loss in production? Or can it be done in situ with no loss of production? We then need the regular biannual bank review rns then 220p imov
