01/11/2016 12:16 | I guess that if they weren't doing a buyback at all that we'd be at 8p by now. | foot in mouth
31/10/2016 15:54 | Why the big drop? | boonboon
31/10/2016 10:27 | Agree with you foot in mouth, massively undervalued. Added more to my holding, debt will be down to zero soon, cannot find many better places to invest. DYOR | patience a virtue
30/10/2016 14:57 | We go ex-dividend on Friday the 4th of November with 2.1 PPS. I was hoping for far more shares to be bought in the buy back up until now......but they are doing it the slow steady way. We never got to my 120p target. Patience is the key here I guess. I still feel these are massively undervalued when you consider the freehold properties and the cash generation. GLA. | foot in mouth
20/10/2016 18:28 | Trinity will soon be able to buy up around a third of the shares out of free cash flow! | spoole5
20/10/2016 15:16 | Thanks,Harry for update. I agree selling is relentless. | gfrae
20/10/2016 14:44 | It does not seem to matter how good the news is, the selling continues.Today the Independent owner said that their website is now making the company profitable after the sale/closure of the papers and that is with market penetration less than half Trinity's. Furthermore the Abc's out today show Trinity websites continuing to power ahead of the competition.Trinity Group for September up 44.6% yoy to 8.248 million, (includes Local World) Mirror Nationals up 26.2% to 4.912 mil.Compares with Mail up 10%, Guardian down 5% and Telegraph down 1.5% Trinity Group is now a clear second to Mail in total and probably near number one in the UK alone. | harry_david
19/10/2016 16:00 | me too freddie :-) | kazoom
19/10/2016 15:08 | Still hoovering up those shares. | freddie ferret

19/10/2016 11:38 | 35p Eps for 16 and 17. Pe of 2.7!! | spoole5
19/10/2016 11:32 | What's the forecast eps on this one? | s34icknote
17/10/2016 18:01 | Gilt yields rising surely good for the pension defecit? | spoole5
12/10/2016 13:25 | Gfrae, Odey's trading has always looked as though he possessed advanced knowledge of hacking developments. Perhaps hacking is no longer a problem. If Brexit continues to confound, interest rates could rise and eliminate the pension problem. Then we would be running. | harry_david
12/10/2016 08:31 | Good, thanks Harry.. Though surprising he has managed to do so without moving the share price .Perhaps TNI should borrow his dealers ! | gfrae
11/10/2016 22:29 | Nice to see Mr Odey thinks they are cheap! He has bought back well over a mil in last week. | harry_david
04/10/2016 12:19 | Back over a pound by the end of the week. | spoole5
01/10/2016 16:40 | The low share price suits me fine. I am not looking to sell any time soon. A low share price means they buy up more shares over time. Trading update OK. | freddie ferret
30/9/2016 09:21 | No surprises - on track for full year targets. Sales down; digital well up; cash generation strong. Steady as she goes. | philjeans
29/9/2016 17:31 | Trading update tomorrow. | foot in mouth
28/9/2016 16:18 | Snicker, in theory you are right. In practice if the shares are cheap they will not stay cheap for long so as there is not much difference between 90 and 95 they should get stuck in. I note that Numis bought far more than Barclays when it was their turn. | harry_david
28/9/2016 15:21 | Is there a reason for TNI to support the share price rather than let it fall as far as possible and then buy as many shares as they can? I can understand if they intend to make a large acquisition which would require them to issue shares that they may wish to provide support but surely the falling price now is exactly what shareholders should wish to see until the money set aside for buybacks is utilised. Does the shareprice in any way affect the pension situation for example? | smicker
28/9/2016 13:17 | Hi gfrae, They're constrained by only being able to buy a %age of the day's trading volume. No/low volume = no/low buys. Plus, it's at their brokers' discretion..... ATB | extrader |
