24/1/2017 10:20 | We'd better put in a big order,then! | gfrae
23/1/2017 18:29 | 1.10 is crucial, last time we hit 1.10 we retraced to 75p. The gap up could see us hit 150 relatively quickly! | spoole5
23/1/2017 17:47 | Yep - drink up! hic............ | philjeans
23/1/2017 15:38 | Cup and handle formation? | foot in mouth
20/1/2017 11:37 | Sooner or later this will breakout. PE of about 3 with yield at 6%, not much debt, strong cashflow, silly price at the moment. | patience a virtue
20/1/2017 11:23 | Breakout coming here. | spoole5
12/1/2017 17:46 | Is there any reason it can't purchase more shares in its daily buyback like the last few days? Instead of 3 or 4k a day up to the holidays? | cityconindex
12/1/2017 11:15 | The usual retreat from £1 under way, will we retest 75p this time? | spoole5
11/1/2017 09:32 | Correct. EPS has remained pretty constant for the last 10 years or so. Though the make up has changed print revenue is slowly being replaced by digital. | gfrae
11/1/2017 09:00 | It's the cost savings that keep the profits going when revenues are constantly falling | s34icknote
11/1/2017 08:30 | I would have thought that investing their cash in a business on a p/e of about 3 yielding 6% which they know inside out is a good idea and that they should get on with it,for the benefit of all. | gfrae
10/1/2017 21:22 | I don't disagree with this view. My biggest holding but still a bit perplexed by strategy employed by those at the top. Print is in constant decline, they've already had a failed attempt at creating another title, results show that investment in online content is more profitable. Even though there's still a market for the public buying a newspaper, injecting more money in it unless local titles isn't well spent in my view, just like the buyback in shares which is a step too far. Generating too much cash and not enough places to spend it ? Give some back to us patient shareholders instead or make extra payments to reduce that overhanging pension deficit instead | pvee
10/1/2017 21:03 | Having read the article, what I find bazaar here is they couldn't buy the I, but spent £5 million on launching their very own competitor. One minute they are trying to make cost savings the next buying a load of over priced titles which will no doubt be downgraded in asset value at some stage. Something doesn't add up here to me. | karlos885
09/1/2017 22:06 | Some merger speculation | smicker
29/12/2016 14:27 | Hi all, WoW, We're Weally Wocketing noW..... ATB | extrader
29/12/2016 14:09 | Maybe the penny is beginning to drop | bc4
27/12/2016 10:24 | Bargain rating whichever way you look at it. Someone add to the 100% thread for potential doublers in 2017 - epic is 100%. I've already added ZOO for my tip - see for details. | philjeans
25/12/2016 21:46 | Broker price targets below for TNI taken from the HL website. The three current ones, given after the recent update give an average of 178pps. 21/12/2016 13:15 | CGT LOSS; sell in one name, buy back in another - husband and wife, children etc. I do it all the time to reduce gains and use losses. | philjeans
21/12/2016 12:34 | 'Roll-over for CGT - both at middle price.' What Capital Gain lol? There are many other reasons for a 'put through' at middle market price. It could easily be a brokered deal between 2 clients! | prokartace
21/12/2016 09:31 | Old mutual doing the right thing by covering their short here too - could run away this next year. Looks like we're consolidating the gains around £1 atm. Edit: Might be having a go at another leg up | sphere25
20/12/2016 15:48 | Odey still short so his buying back will also give us a boost! | philjeans |
