08/11/2017 17:55 | Maybe my last 100k buy before the bell finished it off | markth126
08/11/2017 17:52 | Yes WTI still looking perky. Good news that sell has cleared, was sceptical there was one as bonkers to sell at 16.5p in the aggressive way they did but it is clearly done now. | mark10101
08/11/2017 17:33 | 2.3M sold at 16.5p. That will have been holding it back. WTI at $58 Brent at $64.5 | phowdo
08/11/2017 15:26 | Marvelman, your post 4542 is exactly why, as Mark says, you know you are correctly invested! Let the value work itself out in good time. | bones
08/11/2017 15:24 | Marvelman that is why I sit and wait, as per the recent broker rating 30p by Christmas is perfectly possible. Going into next year 50p is a distinct possibility and they are just fair value figures, would be nice for TRIN to one day get a bit toppy.... | mark10101
08/11/2017 15:19 | Current market caps:- Columbus (output 500 bopd).....£43 million Trinity (output 2500 bopd).....£49 million | marvelman
08/11/2017 15:04 | There's a seller to be absorbed, that is all there is. | bones

08/11/2017 14:27 | A market with narrow bid-ask spreads. A tight market for a security or commodity is characterized by abundant liquidity and frenetic trading activity. Intense price competition on both the buyers' and sellers' sides leads to tight spreads, the hallmark of a tight market. | mo2550
08/11/2017 14:25 | If T&T government don’t deliver their new TAX regime, WTI goes below $35 are the main ones I can think of, even then I don’t think we would be over priced at current price. So plenty of upside should oil stay higher than $45 and T&T deliver. Also the company could do any number of things available to them to instantly boost value such as moving our 2C to 2P reserves. | mark10101
08/11/2017 13:53 | Just look at bid/offer both being 17.5p. We are being held in anticipation of news, this is not normal trading.... | mark10101
08/11/2017 11:46 | Patience is needed, dont take each daily move at face value, just hold for value. | mark10101
08/11/2017 11:43 | CERP and TXP powering ahead no doubt on sustained oil price rises and here we are stuck with yet another large seller/shorter holding us back from getting anyway near intrinsic value...bloody frustrating. | marvelman
08/11/2017 10:02 | As soon as the bid went up our seller was out for another 40k. Just not letting us move on. | marvelman
08/11/2017 07:48 | The event is SOLD OUT Should create more interest | spellbrook

07/11/2017 14:14 | The finance minister has told EVERYONE in his budget statement that he intends to sort SPT by year end. So the timetable isnt anyone's inside information, even if details are only known by insiders. Frankly, it's overdue and they know they desperately need to encourage investment in oil. Trinidad now mostly produces gas, so they can compensate a large cut in oil tax rate by just a tiny hike on gas taxation. It was world's 8th largest exporter of LNG last year. And I read that Trinidad contributes 17% of BP's total global revenue. But Trinidad's oil production has been falling for decades- it's fallen from about 300,000 bopd to only 60,000 bopd last year. That's pants. So Imbert knows he has to get his finger out and encourage more investment in oil. | whiskeyinthejar
07/11/2017 13:02 | took an initial 90K this am at 17.199 though it showed as an hour later as a sell. GLA | melody9999 |
