Look a their profit progression half on half over the last three years and i think you'll see what is cyclical.

Whats cyclical about Tricorn?

They make and manipulate tubes and pipes in weird and wonderful places.
Growing revenue worldwide from aerospace,construction,utilities,energy.

with cyclical stocks you have to sell when they look cheap, and buy when they look expensive. it worked here. Zulu and peg analysis works better on defensive growth stocks.

well, from here i cant imagine there's too much downside, the market price has no affect on the business and if the market values it fairly in the long term a fall here just means a bigger rise later, good opportunities on falls like these.

I think its a bit cold for the Zulu's now.
How quickly sentiment changes.Fighting to get stock not so long ago.

I assume the same people that are jumping out of other Zulu's (and the market as a whole it seems too) are also the culprits for the drop here too.

Id like to think they are wrong on all counts and that the worry is way overdone.
Then again...

Forecast of eps for this y/e Mar2012 is c3.3p from my notes to hand so a p/e for the current year of just over 10 - and may well do better, forecasts couldn't keep up with 'em last year. For decent growth prospects, they still look very good value to me. But, had a good run for many here so not surprised to see a bit of profit taking given the market wobbles - but am sure buyers will be back. This is a great small cap, and still holding a position myself. I reckon there's plenty more to TCN's recovery story to come. Sound management who seem to be well on track here.

-- Operating profit margin* up 95% to 5.5%

-- Increased cash position and substantial reduction in net debt

-- Adjusted earnings per share up 3.2 times to 2.57p

-- Maiden dividend recommended

with a small market cap and results like this i think the p/e at 16 is still low, i dont know why it doesn't get more attention

Outlook

We have been encouraged by the progress made in the year with the Group benefitting from its exposure to global markets, increased account penetration and continued focus on operational improvement. We accelerated our investment plans through the second half of the year and this higher level of investment will continue through the current year as we look to capitalise on the opportunities we are identifying. Alongside our drive for organic growth, the Group continues to consider potential acquisition opportunities.

Still more than happy to hold here.Only recently that had to sell some treasury stock to satisfy demand.
They still look cheap with a market cap of 12 million.Loose change for someone like BBY

I exited first thing: while TCN will continue to do well, I suspect the P/E is more or less up with events for now.
