08/6/2011 19:28 | Yes ic2..better late than never :) | spec7
08/6/2011 18:15 | There certainly has been a fair bit of chunky buying today. | cfro
08/6/2011 17:47 | Arbuthnot tweaked their figures a bit yesterday. 07-06-11 SBUY 1.40 3.20 0.20 1.60 3.70 0.30 It's amazing how the price nearly always dips on results day. which gives an opportunity to buy in before rising again. Spec7 - Still a good entry price imv. ic2..... | interceptor2
08/6/2011 17:26 | I just got 75k, should have bought at 15 not 30..kicking myself now. | spec7
08/6/2011 11:07 | Cheers Aquadave - up today on some large buys :-) CR | cockneyrebel
06/6/2011 20:38 | Sorry CR but i cut and paste your first lines so you can hardly say thats not what you said. No one is picking a fight. Dont be so aggressive... | spec7
06/6/2011 19:48 | No, if you read my post it says 'in fact it did better today than I expected.' Out to pick a fight with someone tonight Spec7 ? Your nutter mate Fusebox not around for a fight? CR | cockneyrebel
06/6/2011 19:35 | You cant really start two consecutive posts...Results came in as expected for me....what I expected was wrong anyway :-) I was not expecting a drop of 1p first thing on very small volume given that i think the results were at the the very top of most peoples expectations. I agree the resent rise was on the back of pretty accurately predicted results but i am surprised there were not a few buyers waiting for conformation. It will be interesting to see what the brokers/tipsters set as a target now. Personally i expect the price to pick up a bit more based on Elecs figures above. I will tell you exactly by how much after the rise :-)) | spec7
06/6/2011 19:06 | Not really, what I expected was wrong anyway! They came in pretty much on forecasts for me - the divi was flagged before and the broker forecasting the divi forecast 2.2p eps, spot on before adjustments. The adjusted number was better but I think a lot of the time the stock reacts to the headline number. The stock is up over 50% since the start of April, how can you expect more unless the results smash? I'm sure they still have more in them down the line, you just have to let traders trade out sometimes and take advantage of it if they do. CR | cockneyrebel
06/6/2011 18:49 | Pointless posting what you "expected" after the event. | spec7
06/6/2011 18:37 | Results came in as expected for me, wasn't surprised to see the reaction today, in fact it did better today than I expected. Fancied topping up on a pull back today but one didn't materialise. CR | cockneyrebel
06/6/2011 10:10 | Results were better then I had expected. The difference between Basic EPS and adjusted EPS is narrowing very rapidly now, with borrowing reducing. I should think there should be some very undervalued acquisition opportunities in this sector, that TCN could take advantage of. Many companies still have valuations below TCN in this sector. Looking forward to an increase to next years forecasts now after these impressive results. ic2...... | interceptor2
06/6/2011 08:22 | Topped up again. With such a small mkt cap and not much of a following the share price can be moved up or down fairly easily. I expect the figs will attract some more attention in due course. Revenue up nicely and most important for me, a much more significant increase in EPS compared to the increase in revenue. I love it when you get figs like this. | tillman
06/6/2011 08:17 | Seems a strange reaction to better than expected results. Good opp. to top up, which I've taken. | penpont
06/6/2011 08:03 | Yes, debt has been all but eliminated, allowing them to make acquisitions based on cash flow, just hope they don't get carried away. | daz
06/6/2011 07:55 | They are looking or aquisitions themselves. | battlebus2
06/6/2011 07:52 | elec, being picky I know but of the two brokers forecasts, Westhouse was from Feb and should be ignored. Arbuthnot from 2 June was an eps of 2.20p and div of 0.10p. Never sure if the forecast eps is adjusted. 2.57p eps is adjusted undiluted. I still think that TCN will be taken out | yoyoy
06/6/2011 07:44 | I have to agree Elec and thanks for pointing this one out. When i did my bit of research people were hoping this might be an acquisition its self. that would push the share price up now....lol | spec7
06/6/2011 07:29 | Spec Also ahead of the upgraded forecast. Forecast eps was 2.10p & we got 2.57p. Forecast eps for FY2012 was 2.96p & I now expect this to be upgraded to 3.5p+. Put TCN on a growth & recovery P/E of 12-13 & I'll pencil in TCN at 42-45p 12 months out - that's a 40-50% uplift possiblity + the divi. That's good enough to make TCN at least a 12 month hold for me. The companies markets look good with exports driving domestic demand & a chance of an aerospace recovery. There's also some acquisitions to maybe look forward too. | electronica
06/6/2011 07:07 | Cant grumble about that set of figures...Excellent :-)...and a div !! | spec7
03/6/2011 09:15 | He he! :-) | cfro
03/6/2011 08:26 | So Mr "Leakey" worked in "Fluid Controls".......hmmm | spec7 |
