22/11/2013 09:06 | 173.56 this morning. | illtud
22/11/2013 00:26 | There is a distinct head and shoulders formed in the chart and the share price has fallen well below the 30 and 50 day SMAs and dropped to the 200 day SMA. Also, news is not expected soon, as far as I am aware. Hopefully, it will not fall further as there seems to be resistance at 170. If it falls below 170, the next resistance seems to be at 150, followed by 140 and then 120. DYOR illtud | illtud

15/11/2013 08:29 | Not only is the potential considerable but, imho, it is one of the safest bets on the market. illtud | illtud
15/11/2013 08:27 | I think so but not many seem to realise that. | illtud

15/11/2013 07:57 | Typical Tribal understatement. If this was QPP, RT would be screaming it from the rooftops. | tommo777
15/11/2013 07:29 | Nice Interim Management Statement today. Tribal's reach is becoming global. illtud | illtud
12/11/2013 00:21 | gomore. I just saw the charts. Hmm. I'm not an expert on charts but I am attempting to learn. My take on them is that charts represent a good reflection of sentiment and should definitely be taken into account in deciding when and whether to buy or sell. Having said that, I stand by my belief that Tribal is a good long term investment regardless what the charts say. imvho, any report or TU will be a good one. illtud | illtud
12/11/2013 00:05 | I've been watching Tribal and one of it's predecessors for around 13 years and been in and out of their shares. Doubled my money along the way. Currently in while I wait for news. These days Tribal specialises in the Education Sector where they have a few sources of revenue, major ones being school inspections and further and higher education. The school inspection contracts in the UK provide are big money earners and run for around three to five years before they have to be retendered for. The aspect of the company I am most familiar with is their SITS VISION product which is a student administration system for universities. It was originally developed by an independent company called SITS which was bought out by Tribal about 10 years ago. The product was always a money spinner for SITS and continues to be so for Tribal. It was that and school inspections that kept Tribal going during the dark days when their other acquisitions, notably in the Health Sector, were losing money hand over fist. SITS VISION is now used by over 70% of universities in the UK, including Oxford University and has sold well in Australia and New Zealand. Tribal's most recent SITS VISION contract is with the Canadian University of British Columbia in Vancouver. I understand that contract is seen by Tribal as a possible springboard into the US market in which they already have toeholds in the schools and military sectors. The thing about SITS VISION is that it is a world beating product. It has virtually no rivals and there are high barriers to entry into the field. Other, much larger companies, do provide something similar but are not as focused or as good. Tribal usually achieves preferred bidder status in the tendering process and, once they have that, are virtually guaranteed to have the contract. Although the contracts tend to be initially for just a few years, they generally prove to have a life of upwards of 10 years during which time the contract tends to expand as applications are added, providing even more sources of income. Because of their excellent income streams, Tribal have recovered from a dire situation, where they were not only saddled with loss making subsiduaries which have all now been sold but also with large debts that the previous management had incurred in order to buy those loss making subsiduaries in the first place. Tribal are still paying off that legacy of debt but, I understand, it is the company's intention to pay it off entirely and should be totally paid off within the next few years. What is particularly interesting is that Tribal has not needed any outside help with their recovery. They have had the income and resources to manage and finance the recovery totally in house. The information is all on Tribal's website and on the website of Hardman & Co. It is my personal belief that once the recovery is complete, ie. all debt paid off, this boring little company could become really interesting. Especially if they succeed in breaking into the American university market. DYOR illtud | illtud
11/11/2013 21:14 | I have held these for some time but am a bit nervous that the decline continues. Here is a link to tradesmarter's chart analysis. Will the 200 day trendline hold? | gomore
11/11/2013 17:04 | IMS last year was 14/11 so end of this week. | 11023154
11/11/2013 12:35 | Next IMS is due out the end of this week or the beginning of next week according to the FD. | rahner
11/11/2013 12:29 | I believe it's just drifting on lack of news. Would be nice to see some director buying at this point to confirm all is well and that will possibly trigger a top up for me. | melf
11/11/2013 11:50 | The share price has been fairly static for a month and some people have doubled their money in the last year with this Tribal Share so it is natural for people to take profit, plus it is a quiet news time with 4 months before the full results are released, and 3 months since the last results perhaps people are taking their money somewhere they think is currently more active. There has been no negative news, new sales including ones in new exciting untapped territories were reported with Half Year results back in August, I am considering it could be an opportunity to top up some more value shares. | irchris
11/11/2013 11:14 | I'm no chartist but as illud says was a head and shoulders formation brewing. I got out just before as mentioned, but think that if it finds support for sometime around here then it is a buy opp. I think 170 will see support. | 11023154
11/11/2013 09:17 | Anyone got a view as to why share price is almost back to it's 200 day mva ? | montynj
01/11/2013 19:42 | I doubled my money on this one. | illtud
31/10/2013 14:18 | I do unfortunately which is probably the reason I don't make much money in this game. | 11023154
31/10/2013 11:47 | You must have a short attention-span, 11023154, it was quite interesting till mid-August. ;-) | b1ggles
31/10/2013 11:28 | Fair, each to their own and all that. | 11023154
31/10/2013 10:56 | A very boring share. I like it. | illtud |
