"on the cusp of a liquidity event"
I like your optimism hedge.
It would be nice if they swapped our intelicrypt shares out for Quantinuum ones at the same time.

Plazapokerpro,

After holding this share for at least seven years, why are you so desperate to sell now for a comparative pittance, when we look to be on the cusp of a major liquidity event anyway?

And why do you think that corporate financiers would be interested in buying a small minority retail stake in an unlisted company, as they are?

Rest assured, you would likely be offered a small fraction of what these buyers think the shares are actually worth.

If you look through the sequence of posts from 8336 above onwards, you will see that the offer price is very clearly stated, and views on that offer price are clearly given.

I did get an instant reply when I sent the email to GOS, so the post waiting for GOS for an update, I’d try and send it again. They clearly do read the emails and I sent mine to info@
I don’t know if that’s the same address you sent your email to.

Happy 1st Nov.

I emailed GOS asking if they wanted my 5 million or so shares and had a reply asking for screenshots of the share certificates. Do I risk being scammed by showing all the information on the share certificate or do I need to cover up any details.
They also asked how much I was looking for in terms of price per share. Any idea what to put?

Thanks Chesy.

Quantinuum isn't actually listed on the Nasdaq, though I would expect that to come when market conditions improve - perhaps in 2023.

Plaza,

On the subject of Charles Goodfellow, TMOR announced great RTO news on Friday, and if it hadn't been suspended pre-opening, it would probably be top riser for the weekend: a proposed RTO at a share price of 2.25p, well over double the current share price of 0.95p:-

23/09/2022 07:45 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) More Acquisitions PLC Acquisition - Megasteel and Suspension of Trading LSE:TMOR More Acquisitions Plc

"Proposed Acquisition of Megasteel Limited and Suspension of Trading ...

-- Proposed Acquisition values the current issued share capital of More at GBP2.81 million (vs GBP1.19 million at closing on 22 September 2022) or over 2.3 times the Company's current net cash

Background

Megasteel (www.megasteel.co.uk ), has traded for more than 30 years in the United Kingdom, and is one of the largest stockholders and distributors of high-quality steel for the prestressing and post-tensioning of concretes in the UK. Prestressed concrete is a critical building product used in the UK construction market, from house floors to bridge beams and from railway sleepers to high rise buildings in the City of London. In its financial year ended 31 October 2021, Megasteel made audited pre-tax profits of GBP3m on turnover of GBP19.7m. ...

Nigel Roberts, CEO of Megasteel Ltd added:

"We have built Megasteel over the last 30 years to be one of the biggest suppliers in the UK of prestressing wire and strand, a product used in almost every construction project in the country, and we have been considering a listing of the business for many years. We are pleased to be working with More Acquisitions as the vehicle that will enable us to do this.

Over many years we have been able to grow our sales, generate revenues, make profits and turn those profits into cash which we have reinvested into the business to keep the cycle going. Applied over a long period of time these business methods have produced a profitable business that I am proud to have started. ...

We were attracted to More Acquisitions as our vehicle to list because we liked the simplicity and cost-effective way in which it had been set up with its 'one price for all', no advisory or broking fees, capped listing and on-going costs and no director salaries, the Company and its key stakeholders fitted very well with our views on how a business should be run!"

Mark,

isn't it about time Idris or Iliyas made a statement or gave the long suffering shareholders an update and an idea of future plans.

Hey peeps.

I had a random letter drop through the mailbox with my Intelicrypt share certificates inside. I was with SVS for my broker who went into administration years ago now and this is the first I’ve had anything back. I remember all about this quantum computer and Mr Khan but I completely forgot about it until the certificate dropped on my floor last week.
From what I can gather, TGL shares were converted to Intelicrypt shares but delisted or were never listed. We own GOS and have a very small stake in CQCL if that’s the correct abbreviation, but little hope of getting anything back from the half percentage point we hold. But the last post mentioned someone who is interested in buying our shares, but mentioned no price. I ask because I have no idea what is a good price for the shares I hold. I know I’m not going to be able to retire from the sale should I sell, but having some idea of price would help me to barter. So how much should we be looking for per share?

"Guys we have an offer for our shares from a buyer, if you want the email, drop an email to Charles Goodfellow at peterhouse capital. Cg@peterhousecap.com"

Charles Goodfellow is of course a former director of Touchstone Gold:

22/04/2014 06:02 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Touchstone Gold Limited Placing, director change, strategy & TSX delisting
" ... Charles Goodfellow (aged 56) - Non-Executive Director
Charles Edouard Goodfellow is a corporate broker with over 25 years' experience of fund raising for small and mid-caps and private companies across a range of sectors and jurisdictions. He is a director of Acorn Minerals plc, a company listed on the Standard segment of the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, and is also a director of AIM listed Mentum Inc. ..."

And he is now a director of a new shell that floated on 4th. March this year (at 1p):

More Acquisitions (TMOR) 0.975p Market cap. £1.22M.

TMOR's stated focus is on a different area to GOS Systems' tech security business, but that won't be set in stone, and could be changed, e.g. to take account of changing market conditions.

And the investment appetite for green energy investments, especially loss-making ones, seems to have declined significantly over the last few months.

A profitable tech security business like GOS Systems might be a more attractive proposition.

From TMOR's website:

"Our focus will be investing in a business or businesses which are developing and/or supporting the energy transition, which is the global energy sector’s shift from fossil-based systems of energy to renewable sources, such as wind and solar and lithium-ion batteries."

"Hedge you need to give waseem a call from stanhill, I spoke to him in November. It will give you some clarity. Previously I had spoken to Idris a few times. The business is making a small profit. The Keys are still a little while off but I don't think GOS is now the vehicle to distribute them unfortunately (my impression). Call him and let me know if you concur. Where we get some good value down the road from our cqcl shares, remains to be seen."

Thanks for your updates Chesy.

So it appears that ITS's GOS Systems has just had its third consecutive year of profit, i.e. 2019-2021.

Thanks and well done to the team for achieving this stellar result, and during the pandemic as well.

Surely the business is now at a level where it could return to market, so perhaps 2022 could finally be the year.
