That’s funny, I saw the BBC article but did not read it as it reminded me I had not checked in on here for a while. So I dropped in to check and see the article, which I have now read 🤣

We must be getting near another attempt by someone to work out where we are with things. Our CQC share must be getting pretty valuable now, I wonder if we have any left….

"INTRODUCING QUANTINUUM
The World’s Largest Integrated Quantum Computing Company

PUBLISHED ON 30.11.2021

Press Release

Quantinuum is a result of the combination of two global leaders in quantum computing: Honeywell Quantum Solutions and Cambridge Quantum

The two leading companies in the quantum computing industry have combined to create Quantinuum, thereby accelerating the development of quantum computing and innovation of quantum technologies in a platform agnostic manner to deliver real-world quantum-enabled solutions for some of the most intractable problems that classical computers have not been able to solve.

Cambridge Quantum, the pioneer in quantum software, operating systems, and cybersecurity, and Honeywell Quantum Solutions, which has built the highest-performing quantum hardware, based on trapped-ion technologies, today announced they have satisfied all of the conditions required to close the business combination and formed the new company, now called Quantinuum.

“Quantinuum is now the largest and most advanced integrated quantum computing company in the world,” said Ilyas Khan, CEO of the new company and founder of Cambridge Quantum. “By uniting the best-in-class quantum software available with the highest performing hardware available, we are uniquely positioned to bring real quantum computing products and solutions to large, high-growth markets in the near term, the medium term and the longer term as quantum computers scale in capacity and quality. We are science led and enterprise driven, and our scale and global presence in this most critical of technologies will provide leadership in each of the key areas that constitute the ‘must haves’ for quantum computing to deliver real-world solutions to all our customers and partners.”

Quantinuum will globally launch a quantum cybersecurity product in December 2021, and later in 2022, an enterprise software package that applies quantum computing to solve complex scientific problems in pharmaceuticals, materials science, specialty chemicals and agrochemicals. It will also announce major upgrades to the System Model H1 hardware technologies Powered by Honeywell®, which has the highest measured quantum volume as well as industry breakthroughs that reduce errors, thereby continuing to progress credibly towards the development of a fault-tolerant quantum system. In this respect, the H-Series quantum computers continue the trend of meeting and exceeding the deliverables that the company has previously committed to as part of its hardware roadmap.

“I am thrilled to help lead our new company, which will positively change the world through the application of quantum computing. Our scientists continue to work hard to develop the best quantum software and hardware technologies available and I am excited to be able to offer these to customers on an ongoing basis,” said Tony Uttley, President and Chief Operating Officer of Quantinuum. “The next few weeks and months are going to be extremely active for Quantinuum, as we increase the pace in deriving unique value from today’s quantum computers especially in cybersecurity. However, in addition to cybersecurity, our products will include solutions for drug discovery and drug delivery, materials science, finance, natural language processing, as well as optimisation, pattern recognition and supply chain and logistics management.”
Quantinuum comes into existence six months after Honeywell announced that Honeywell Quantum Solutions, its quantum computing division, would separate from the company and combine with Cambridge Quantum. Honeywell will initially be the largest shareholder of Quantinuum, with an approximately 54 percent ownership stake in the new company. Additionally, on top of this stake, Honeywell has also invested nearly $300 million in the new venture, ensuring that Quantinuum is well capitalised at inception. Honeywell will also be a supplier of Quantinuum, supporting the manufacturing process for the company’s proprietary ion-traps, as well as a customer of Quantinuum on various projects across its business units.
Quantinuum has a staff of almost 400 at inception, with offices in the United Kingdom, United States, Japan and Germany. Of those employees, approximately 300 are scientists advancing the development of quantum hardware and software solutions.

Quantinuum will maintain European headquarters in Cambridge, UK and North American headquarters in Colorado, USA. The company will continue to be entirely platform agnostic in its choice of hardware to provide total portability to its clients and ensure the most effective performance for the problems being solved."

Thanks Peter, exciting stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Quantinuum floating in the medium term, which is good news for us.

As at 1.7.16, ITS held 3,071 ordinary CQCL shares: c. 2.9% of the ordinary shares in issue.
- Albeit preferred shares would reduce this percentage to c. 2.5%.

As at 31.12.20 ITS still retained c. a third of their original holding: with dilution this could be up to say c. a half of a percent of CQCL.

If CQCL was valued at c. £1Bn., this could be worth c. £5m.
Say c. 0.5p per ITS (TGL) share diluted.

+ ITS has its GOS Systems asset.

ITS's latest accounts have been published.

They're showing little change on the year: the main change being a £80K. increase in net current assets, to £793,045.

I would say Honeywell have a got themselves a very good deal. It will take a US company and money to make this global no doubt. It's a shame the UK ii's don't have that mentality.

Hedge,

This Trevor wells seems to have his finger in a few pies, with lots of dissolved companies behind him.

And you might have guessed by now I have absolutely zero faith in Mr khan, at least until he proves otherwise.

I question whether he has any intention of letting ITS or GOS have a sniff at the
CQC / Honeywell venture.

Peter,

Intelicrypt Tactical Solutions Limited is just a holding company, of GOS Systems and some CQCL shares (if they haven't all been sold), and there was virtually nothing on the website anyway.

The GOS Systems website is the important one:

I certainly wouldn't give Khan all the credit for where CQC finds itself. Khan is surrounded by a very clever group of people that have made it possible.

I am Personally disappointed at the years of contempt shown towards the very people that invested in the idea of CQC in the first place.

I seriously doubt we will hear anything about this from ITS. They no longer have a website, or even a blog or a Twitter account

Our Cqcl holding is roughly a third (no of shares) of what it was in 2016"

23/06/2015 08:30 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Touchstone Gold Limited CQCL investment LSE:TGL Transglobe Energy Corporation
"London, 23 June 2015 - Touchstone is pleased to announce an investment in Cambridge Quantum Computing Limited ("CQCL").
On 15 May 2015, the Company announced a fundraising with the use of proceeds to include the exercise an option to invest in unquoted new ordinary shares in CQCL. The option was granted to TGL in November 2014 for providing professional services regarding several CQCL business development initiatives.
Touchstone has now made an investment in CQCL by investing GBP200,000 into new CQCL convertible preferred shares (nil coupon with no final redemption date). The convertible preferred shares are convertible into new ordinary shares of CQCL at a price per share that will be 20% below the price per ordinary share paid by CQCL's expected institutional and other investors in a financing that is currently anticipated to occur in 2015. Based on the expected valuation of CQCL at the time of the forthcoming financing, Touchstone's resultant holding in CQCL will not be expected to represent a significant percentage of CQCL's issued share capital.
In addition to Touchstone making the investment, Touchstone investee GOS Systems has been granted exclusive reseller distribution rights over CQCL's forthcoming Quantum Key Encryption ("QKE") products which will be targeted at governments and corporations that have high security requirements. The sales right covers European sales of the products and the products are expected to be available for sale from 2016 onwards. The sales right has been granted for a period of 3 years following the first availability of product. ..."

Hopefully we (via ITS) still hold some shares in CQCL.
Probably less than 1% of CQCL, but that could still potentially be worth a few million.
Plus the value of GOS Systems, and we could potentially get decent amount back.

"So Honeywell now own CQC, With ilyas still at the helm. So what are the plebs invested in intelicrypt going to get out of it you total shafter."

Peter,

Honeywell isn't acquiring CQCL. Rather, CQCL is merging with a Honeywell subsidiary: to create a new company: majority-owned (55%) by Honeywell, and the rest (45%) presumably owned by a CQCL holding company.

But it's clearly a huge and exciting development, and in due course the new company could well IPO at a potential valuation of billions - as the world’s leading integrated quantum computing company.
CQCL's share could be worth a billion.

"CAMBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM, June 8th, 2021 – Cambridge Quantum Computing
(CQ), a global leader in quantum software and algorithms, today announced they have
entered into a definitive agreement under which Cambridge Quantum will combine
with Honeywell Quantum Solutions (HQS), a Honeywell business unit and maker of
the highest performing quantum computer currently available. Honeywell has been an
investor in and commercial partner with Cambridge Quantum since 2019.
The combination will form a new company that is extremely well-positioned to lead
the quantum computing industry by offering advanced, fully integrated hardware and
software solutions at an unprecedented pace, scale and level of performance to large
high-growth markets worldwide.
The new company’s combined expertise will deliver solutions to customers globally
as well as spur advances that will accelerate the adoption and impact of quantum
technology worldwide. ...
Honeywell will be the majority shareholder of the new company, and CQ’s shareholders will own over 45% of the new company. ..."

Honeywell itself has a market cap. of 157 billion dollars.

Thanks for the heads up Peter, ITS shares will be worth a decent amount, significantly more had they not been sold down as they have. Look forward to hearing from ITS about this good news and how it repairs the years of painful shareholding for those who could see the potential of CQC and Khan shrewd business leadership.

Now this is a very interesting development with "Strangeworks". Perhaps Ilyas can ask them for some cool company name suggestions, other than Intelicrypt or GOS, LOL
