24/5/2024 14:07 | KP that was pretty much the gist of my conversation with Norman Smith pre-Covid. The term we used was incremental growth so I gave up on a big breakthrough moment a while back now. That’s not to detract from incremental growth which should still impact positively on the share price, but just not in the way that was seen pre-bishop. But I certainly hope that Nigel’s goal of £3 - £3.50 is well achievable in the years ahead. IIRC he confirmed as much in one of the recent presentations. | major courtenay
24/5/2024 13:10 | Not sure about this but I would say that most of us dont think a Blockbuster Saw deal is just around the corner. My thoughts are its growth in the pipeline and the contract work that come from engineering that will take the share price forward while we gain momentum across a number of fields. Building relationships with our customers will of course bring in serious money but perhaps not in a very short term . | king1pin2
24/5/2024 08:24 | Looks like the Nigel and Ryan roadshow has not fallen on deaf ears | major courtenay
24/5/2024 08:23 | Yes I also find the holding form very annoying , We can’t tell if they are straight in at 5% because they only need to tell us when they pass 3% I think. But Transense have been talking to instituions over the last few days so perhaps not the only holding RNS we will get in the weeks ahead . New holders will have there work cut out finding stock to buy. | king1pin2
24/5/2024 08:16 | Yes, it's better than the old format but you wonder about the bureaucrats who designs these things | amt
24/5/2024 08:11 | I hate the usual holding form - why not just have a BUY or SELL Field? Anyway, if I’ve read it correctly this new holder went from 0% to over 5% holding … quite a first step and investmemt | bhoddhisattva
24/5/2024 07:56 | Free-float getting really skinny here now | mattjos
24/5/2024 07:30 | More in secure hands not the news I was looking for yet! | shifter2
23/5/2024 10:58 | Oh for a positive bit news would blow share price rapidly north | shifter2
23/5/2024 10:48 | Yes very low volume , No trouble selling any amount so looking for sellers. Won’t be easy to build a reasonable holding so yes breakout looks on the cards . | king1pin2
23/5/2024 10:12 | Attempting breakout to further new highs & on only minimal volumes | mattjos
21/5/2024 09:19 | Good to know. Market cap still tiny relative to 'saw' potential if they can deliver. It looks like can. IMHO | drw1
21/5/2024 09:15 | SAW awareness is without a doubt starting to take off, I follow Transense on Linkedin and over the last few months the followers has almost doubled from 600 odd to 1140 today. From reading various posts relating to the CTI at Nova it would seem that Ryan and David Hind from Drive system Design were very happy with feedback from the presentation so I look forward to hearing more about the revolutionary direct torque control approach using our saw sensors. Over the next two days the management team are again talking to potential new investors so perhaps this new interest will feed through to take our shares to a new high. The new management team are doing us proud so keep up the good work. | king1pin2

Here's Ryan presenting our revolutionary Direct Torque Control approach to electric drive unit control using SAW torque sensing, at the CTI Symposium in Novi Michigan, with David Hind from Drive System Design. Don't worry if you missed it, we'll be publishing more details soon! | drw1
17/5/2024 09:55 | Thanks KP, that was indeed a useful talk. Hopefully SAW awareness is starting to take off now. (Pun intended) | major courtenay

16/5/2024 16:50 | Ah read it as control losses not as Control Losses! | sojourno
16/5/2024 16:13 | AS in you dont have those problems with our saw sensors. Link for Mello talk | king1pin2
16/5/2024 15:53 | king... But... So why "Not with SAW"? | sojourno
16/5/2024 14:29 | Control losses with high-speed motors? Not with Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensors. There is a growing trend towards high-speed, high pole count motors. But to maintain controllability, they require higher switching frequencies from the power electronics. As David Hind (Drive System Design, UK) and Ryan Maughan (Transense Technologies, UK) will explain, current solutions can quickly reach their limits here. Field Oriented Control (FOC) has a high computational burden, while Direct Torque Control (DTC) suffers from the poor accuracy of the torque estimators used. David Hind and Ryan Maughan will be presenting a new method that uses SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) sensor technology to overcome these shortcomings. By embedding SAW sensors, developers can obtain robust, precise, high-speed readings of torque and shaft temperature in real time. SAW sensor technology has already proven itself in motorsport and aviation, and is suitable for use in production motor drive systems. “Transense Technologies has been working with Drive System Design (DSD) to explore the potential of integrating torque sensors into the control loop of electric motors,” say Ryan Maughan and David Hind. “Using DSD’s extensive simulation capabilities, new control algorithms can be implemented and assessed.” The speakers will discuss the findings of this work, and will demonstrate an improved method of motor control using SAW torque measurement feedback. Specifically, they will quantify the reduction in computational overhead compared to FOC. This can indicate what increase in inverter switching frequency – and hence potentially motor fundamental frequency – can be achieved from a motor control perspective. Interesting from the CTI Symposium | king1pin2
15/5/2024 20:47 | Can anyone provide a link to the recording of the Mello presentation? I gather it should be available by now. | major courtenay
15/5/2024 18:07 | Maybe cos we are up 35pct this month .Maybe a case of travel and arrive ?Pullbacks are healthy | nico115
15/5/2024 16:26 | Perhaps a little surprised that we have not had a uplift on our shares Today with Ryans Saw in e-drive Reveal Tomorrow in the USA. Nigel and Ryan did seem to very excited by the results from the simulation studies carried out by Drive systems design limited so i look forward to hearing the results. Cheap as chips springs to mind and that's from one of the remaining old long term investors. | king1pin2
