01/5/2024 12:02 | More Landone project info, some interesting other organisations involved. Maybe reading too much into it, but interesting that the project was already running and then Transense has been added. A year looking for a solution and then they found TRT? https://gtr.ukri.org | ![]() scrapiron123
01/5/2024 11:50 | Those manufacturing deals won't come without the projects and there is a great pipeline now, 2 years ago there was hardly anything for SAW. Obviously this announcement is one they could make public but worth remembering there are a number of others being worked on confidentially with other customers, will be interesting to see who. Revenue will have to start following the pipeline. They won't win them all, but the odds get better with everyone they have running. In fixed wing Airbus is very much the market leader. | ![]() scrapiron123
01/5/2024 10:47 | King, to be clear, I back the current management 100%. I think they are working extremely hard for us all (and themselves - Nigel especially with that holding of his. Then there are all those shares waiting in Treasury to be distributed should we do well). However, as others have said, the uk Stock market and AIM in particular have taken a slow steady battering the last few years relative to peers. Personally I think a lot of it is down to Brexit, but I know others will disagree. The point is that almost all valuations are down in our neck of the woods, regardless of performance, compared to other markets. Look at the 3 or 5 year graph for AIM then compare to ftse 100 or more importantly , the S&P. It’s diabolical. So it’s going to take a lot more than a project to shift the dial. It’s a great project buts it’s not a manufacturing deal. That’s what we need, and hopefully it will come with time. | ![]() major courtenay
01/5/2024 09:57 | Major posted that he had a “stale bull” hat on and I just wondered if the share price would be at this level IF we were a new start up company . With luck deals such as yesterdays will raise awareness and attract a new group of shareholders who are not put off by our well documented past . The present management team have done the business in a very tough environment so I would hope have the backing of lots of us stale bulls and if we can attract a few more new investors that will give the share price the push it needs towards £1.50 | ![]() king1pin2
01/5/2024 08:13 | Thank you king. | ![]() willoicc
01/5/2024 08:01 | Well they do say actions speak louder than words, Again management buying , all the signs are there . | ![]() king1pin2
30/4/2024 19:31 | Nice!! May be this tech... "...Electric Taxi will save fuel by using the efficient aircraft Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) to provide electrical power to move the aircraft using motors embedded in the wheels. New load/torque sensing technologies coupled with new ground control algorithms will limit structural loads during braking and save weight in the wing and the landing gear structure, thereby saving fuel. ..." | ![]() sojourno
30/4/2024 16:43 | Willoice I am no expert but my understanding is with existing sensors they struggle to get accurate live data so on landing gear they might need heat and pressure and torque measured and because of the way existing sensors work can’t get accurate readings but as I have said I am no expert on sensors . Well worth looking at the Transense website because they have lots of videos on how our sensors work on a variety of applications . | ![]() king1pin2
30/4/2024 15:58 | king, please forgive my ignorance, but will you please briefly explain what the problem is with landing gear. | ![]() willoicc
30/4/2024 15:45 | It's a great result, you cannot guarantee that every project will turn into a long term production or licensing opportunity, but you can guarantee that without any projects there will be no long term opportunities! Delivering that long term requires a combination of the technology being the right solution for that problem and a team with the resources that can deliver, the business has the latter now but didn't before. Plus this isn't the only thing they have in their pipeline, more like this please! | ![]() scrapiron123
30/4/2024 12:59 | Major I do see where you are coming from and yes you are right that we have been here before. Perhaps my problem is that I think we are worth our market cap without Saw so for me this type of news takes me back to the days of £35 a share . Quite a lot of planes with landing gear out there and reading the RNS our Saw sensors should solve a problem that they have not been able to solve. And I should add that the management are out there doing the business in developing relationships with very high profile customers . | ![]() king1pin2
30/4/2024 11:56 | Not really, k1p2, this is what a SAW “project” Granted, this could be the start of something, but let’s not forget, we’ve been here before. What happened to the maritime application project being run by Southampton uni and Lloyds of London? Or for that matter the agricultural application project. Clearly, something bigger could come from such projects, but we haven’t seen it yet. (Not recently anyway). As I say, am in a “harrumphyR | ![]() major courtenay
30/4/2024 10:22 | Major is this not what a saw deal looks like ? We have been told that Saw income at this stage comes from engineering paid by customer so I would expect more deals of this type over let’s say the next 2/3 years before the real fireworks start and at £16m market cap we are in at the ground level . Imho | ![]() king1pin2
30/4/2024 10:17 | Yes I agree , For me Transense is a real bargain at this market cap. The potential is there for everyone to see and once the market starts to believe in our future prospects and our management our share price will move forward with strong momentum. | ![]() king1pin2
30/4/2024 10:17 | Am obviously feeling a bit harrumphy” at the moment, but this feels much more exploratory than I’d like. It’s a project not a production / manufacturing deal. I know from small acorns etc, but i think the very muted price rise this morning reflects this. If this is the “deal” that was referred to as being at the final stages of negotiation in the last presentation, it’s disappointing. Stale bull hat on today. | ![]() major courtenay

30/4/2024 07:37 | Transense Technologies plc, is pleased to announce that it has formally joined an Aerospace Technology Institute supported project, "LANDOne", with Airbus to provide SAWsense technology and support the development of next generation landing-systems technology. LANDOne is a £37.8 Million project looking into new lighter, lower maintenance landing gear systems. Officially launched in 2022, Transense has joined the project due to the SAWsense technology potentially allowing critical measurements to be made that were not possible with other technologies. Ryan Maughan, Managing Director of Transense said: "We are delighted to announce this new project with Airbus, building on our experience in the aerospace sector, and using SAWsense technology in an entirely new application for landing-systems. As well as developing cutting edge technology in this exciting application, the project allows Transense to build a relationship with world leading aerospace businesses." | ![]() chester9
30/4/2024 07:18 | Well we do have quite a list of high profile customers to deal with so I would imagine that there will be more of the same going forward building a platform for our long term growth. Well done Transense . | ![]() king1pin2
30/4/2024 07:03 | Well done to the team! | ![]() drw1
29/4/2024 22:05 | Just saying that I am confident the Nigel and the team at Transense will get the promised deal over the line so keep the faith. The Parker meggit slippage was unfortunate but perhaps predictable given the size of the merged company but I would think that the month of May might give us shareholders plenty to get excited about . | ![]() king1pin2
29/4/2024 21:33 | If I remember correctly, Nigel said in the last presentation that they were negotiating the final details of a deal which they expected to announce this half ie, before the end of June. I think if this one doesn’t land it will be two duds in a row - Meggitt and now this one. And if that happens we’ll take a beating that’ll make the last few weeks look like walk in the park. I don’t doubt that Nigel et al are working extremely hard, but they’ve twice now made themselves hostage to fortune. Let’s hope it’s a happy ending this time. | ![]() major courtenay
29/4/2024 16:41 | I notice that a trailer for the Progressive Equity/In the company of mavericks podcast with TRT was out last week. The actual podcast hasn't landed yet. At the results there were comments around the new patents and potential contracts and an announcement was anticipated in April. I wonder if the actual podcast release is intended to be coincident with the next announcement? Obviously only tomorrow left if is going to be April. | ![]() cousinit |
