This is shocking insider dealing IMHO. The day before an announcement of a 'major retailer' a director buys more shares. You couldn't make it up.

As for the contract, it'll almost certainly be over-promised and under-delivered if history is a judge. And after all the R&D cost, it'll likely lose money when all the remedial work is also taken into account.

Anyone buying this news needs to do their homework. All just my humble opinion of course.

All smoke and mirrors typical trakm8 style. Cost more to deliver than contracts worth. Trust me!!

"The high margin optimisation contract award has arrived with the major food retailer. Initial two year term."

I notice you insert the words "high margin". Any proof whatsoever to justify the use of these two words? Maybe a pump and out on a little spike? Be quick on the button though as another holder and regular poster on here has expressed this as his exit strategy. I'm sure there's others.

Yes if Razza bought at 15.9 he has already made 25% depending on the sell price. Shifting 300000 will never be easy. I wander if the bears would think Razza selling is good news?

Brilliant. Even if the doom and gloomers say there is no margin here because of high r+d costs lets hope the r+d money has been spent already and now this is just gravy. Plus it puts us on the map with other large companies running complicated delivery fleets. Can only be good news this.

Not sure a full takeover would be the worst outcome in the world. I think its clear that microlise are keen on TRAK. Perhaps waiting to come in with low ball offer. In meantime happy not to be particularly helpful in gaining sales traction etc. The problem they have is insider shareholding pretty high so probably in their interests to mop up what they can as low as they can.

You got cameras in the offices Dave? That is probably very accurate. My mate on the inside tells me they don’t make anything for Microlise they don’t even use traks units etc and also compete with them in sales- suicide! Also told me Sainsbury’s is signed finally but is a complete loss leader as all bespoke work needed, and dev alone will be well over £700k cost they paid for it! Turn the lights off on your way our old man! Full takeover by Razza IMO

It certainly got the inmates on the LSE board excited on Tuesday. They thought the leap in the share price on Tuesday was down to the final results. Pmsl. Have a read at these belters:

"Market is liking the update"

"20p could be on by the end of the day"

"Maybe a potential takeover OF Trak rather than BY Trak. Could explain part of today's share price action"

"now in top 5 risers of the day that will get people interested"

"what is interesting now all the bad news is out the way"

"a decent news flow, a full year forecast of profit, few more people coming online,
supermarket contract, foward motion in opti, aa takeup, all that is very possible and = 50p plus"

I'd say so yes Dave. RNS says 322000 on 30th jun and 1st jul so the last couple of days since results out. Last time he bought £20000 which I think were for his ISA he bought them on the open market and then had to file an RNS. Interestingly 322000 added to the 278000 he already had puts him on 600000 which is the same or just slightly ahead of Jon Furber. He paid £120k or £125 for his and has 596000. Dont forget Furber paid about £30k for some at around 100p when he first joined the company. Maybe Razza wants more bragging rights than Furber.

So Nadeem Raza has been the volume these last couple of days? Pour encourager les autres? Something smells a bit off.

We've not seen much more than 300,000 bought the last couple of days so was this all Him. Even if it was all his buying its hardly bad news is it. I dont want to keep banging the bull drum because its getting boring. I've been buying as many as I can with any spare money I could find and telling any of my friends and family who will listen the same thing. My dilemma now is to know when to stop buying as the rise finally starts - when it comes.

That's a chunky buy by Nadeem Raza. Over £50,000 worth at 15.69p. More than doubles his personal holding. Director of Trakm8 and CEO and majority shareholder in Microlise who own 20% of Trakm8 shares.

This says it all if you ask me - Prior to the current lock down, this year was expected to be one of very significant growth.

It’s what I’ve been saying all along! No wonder Nikki jumped ship to join Airmax management team, her recent post tells it all. Believe the Group bid manager has also chucked the towel in. But JW still arrives in his new Ferrari! Heard he has announced his retirement plans over next 3 years but will it be enough. He needs to go now!

New Insurance up 26% in June and new fleet improving after the covid-19 (lockdown) hit in April. Recovery play imo.

"With a significant proportion of revenues derived from the service fees of the installed base, the first two months of the year revenues were 27% lower than the previous year but resulted in a significantly reduced loss because of lower direct and indirect costs."

Recurring revenues are key.
