Shares bought 116,559. Bought Value £18.65k. Less that a quarter of a per cent of the total share capital has been traded and it's up 23%. Mental.

116,559 / 50,000,000 = 0.233%

It's also a good example of M-mouse was saying the other day about liquidity and the speed at which the price can move (either way, of course).

Back to my last post on here. I still believe this company has been overlooked.Commercial is still running and will be the first to be allowed back on the roads.AA and others are a good revenue stream. If we see a few more rises like today it will build confidence in the share

News next week.

I think it's more to do with no news (other that news re the contracts, which is good news) - i.e., that the company is clearly still alive - the contracts support this thesis - AND we've heard nothing to the contrary.

Dave reappears, the share price goes up, ergo good omen. But seriously, what is happening. News?

What would be nice is a massive reduction in debt :)

Well as he is my Dad I shouldn't really comment. Lets not forget there was a 2p dividend in 2017 - I think it was. That would be nice now wouldn't it.

I think Watkins has been socially distancing himself from reality for a fair few years.

Yes, I did laugh when I saw their stock image for 'business as usual'. Were they social distancing or was the factory pretty much empty. But seriously, I have no idea about the lines.I did note that someone on the AA board (lse), who claimed to work there once, that the AA had put a lot in car genie. Who knows the validity of such a point.Keep safe, and like KBYN said, I'm glad you are back.

Dave, Are you being serious? If I had such anger issues with a long failed investment I'd consider therapy. By most people's measurement, a contract renewal is a good thing (even if it just helps keep the lights on). The bigger point was made by KBYN when they stated it showed long term (yes, we do not know the term) contracts were still being signed over this unprecedented period.

Weirdly, when I saw you pop up I thought news must be coming....

You don't hear a lot about Route Monkey and the fantastic world leading RoadHawk RH600 4G Integrated Telematics Camera these days. In fact radio silence.

Maybe John "million connected devices in the near future" Watkins will shed some light.

Oh silly me Car Genie. That's where the big bucks are.

Party politic broadcast by the Million Connected Devices in the Near Future Party.

Trakm8 builds on 10-year association with E.ON
21ST APRIL 2020

"Trakm8 will continue to supply its innovative telematics solutions to leading energy supplier E.ON; as part of a new agreement that further bolsters the decade-long relationship between the two businesses."

Bolster? Err how exactly does it bolster the relationship? Drivel. OK the contract was up for renewal and no doubt some bargaining could be done. There's loads of competition out there. Were you compromised on price and hence margins?

"The fresh contract will see Trakm8 upgrade the tracking and driver behaviour technology it provides to E.ON’s fleet of LCV’s, which comprises some 2,100 vehicles."

Yes good news for E.on. Benefits for Trakm8 please.

Having previously used Trakm8’s T8 devices, E.ON will further enhance its fleet operation with Trakm8's Connect 500 devices, providing unparalleled insights into key metrics such as vehicle tracking, identifying the best means of asset utilisation and helping E.ON’s fleet deliver maximum ROI; and driver behaviour, to ensure drivers are operating safely and fuel efficiently.

Yes good news for E.on. Benefits for Trakm8 please.

"Ellie Barnes, senior contract manager at E.ON, said: “For any fleet manager, knowing the whereabouts of your vehicles – and knowing that they are being driven safely and sustainably – is a critical consideration. That’s why innovative technology, such as that offered by Trakm8, is so important for delivering valuable peace of mind."

Innovative technology? Oh really. I could have sworn there was umpteen other companies offering a similar service

"Trakm8’s telematics solutions fit seamlessly into our wider fleet operation, providing all of the insights we need to best manage our vehicles at just the touch of a button. The past decade has been a fantastic learning curve into how telematics and smart data can drive significant benefits for a business of our size, and we’re looking forward to building on that further as part of our new contract agreement.""

And???? Can no other company offer such a service?

trakm8Fan re your post 4636

Any news of them "getting started on their bigger manufacturing facility sooner rather than later." as you put it? Are the conveyor belts going like the clappers in Coleshill? I mean you reckoned that was what the loan was for. Working capital as they yanked up production for these massive shipping orders. You don't want to tell new large contract customers you cant meet their demand do you?

Not been tracking open jobs but did notice 11 jobs posted on LinkedIn in the last week (so it says)

Given where we are, I find that very odd.

trakm8Fan - I know where the share price will go if it starts consistently generating cash.

ALS - That's the gamble. Market cap. is around £6m at present. If it starts generating cash then with the illiquidity in dealing in the shares you won't get many before the share price gets away from you. Conversely if it looks in trouble you won't be able to sell many.
