Even still this is now trading back at pre pandemic levels. It's like the pandemic never happened. The company's incurred big losses as a result which the market doesn't appear to care about and its future prospects are much worse with more people going to be working from home and not buying tickets. Suspect the best placed person is the CFO. They sold nearly 3mill pound of share in Dec.

They are an agent, aren't they?

No moving parts, nothing to maintain, they take a commission for selling a ticket and do sweetFA. Bloody brilliant

Experian, eBay, Rightmove same deal. Do nothing except take a commission

Businesses like these do well in the end.

Agreed. Been stopped out at a loss a few times in the past but after today's move up again I couldn't resist. Opened a short with a wider stop, hoping that I can reach the results in a couple of weeks. Cannot see anything other than a massive fall/ correction. I obviously want to be in when that happens. If not I'll never short this again as when fundamentals don't matter what is the point!

One of the most mental valuations you'll ever see. Timing when to short this is so tough though.

I closed my short when the Reddit crowd did a number on Gamestop (and others). Seems to be dangerous to be short anything when weight of money is trampling fundamentals. I can't see this company making any money for a year or so (if ever) but it has the cash from the crazy priced convertible to keep it alive for quite a while. But one day...

Surely - hardly a single ticket has been sold in the entire financial year. Even with forward thinking it will take years for trains to come back and now everyone is working from home I think public transport will slump.

To short or not to short - zat is zee question?

I got back in recently (Short) think that last bullish spike definitely was a stop hunt. See how it pans out, could easily get dragged up by the ftse if we start following the US euphoria

So difficult to judge with this share, shut my bet today as it went up and then this afternoon it goes down and still DFB isnt really what I want, need a short with expire date!

Could only open a DFB bet on this today, as it's heavily shorted already with IG and they can't borrow stock. Reminds me I must open an account with Spreadex

Thanks Texas Pete, this looks like a terrible company to me. Reckon its not even worth half its valuation, stops took me out of my shorts and waiting for some pause around the 500 levels for a re entry, good luck all

Talk in the press today that all restrictions will be lifted by May to coincide with all over 50s being vaccinated by then (Gym Group rose today, so did Hyve (events business)). As markets are forward looking by 6 months or so, this will be the reason for the gain imo. I would like to go short again myself but we are in a bullish market again so I'm now wary of shorting any stock. From a technical point of view there is a gap to fill around 491p from back to end of June so an opening short from here could be good.

Its being manipulated of course.

It will crash .. but who knows when !

If the market behaved logically we'd all be rich.

I've just joined with a nice short @ £4.80.

That was the level of the recent £3m sale by the CFO

Literally just got stopped out in the last 5 mins. Will monitor and likely try and go short again before results as just cannot see anything other than a massive fall in the sp

Its probably up as light at the end of the tunnel with lockdown restrictions, however maybe look at going short leading up to results as they will be awful
