14/6/2021 13:51 | Seems a reasonable secondary target buddy! | reb_ban
14/6/2021 12:07 | Morning all If we can close above 272.8p, my next target would be 302.8p. dyor active | srpactive
12/6/2021 09:27 | Ceteri, far greater revenue for trainline arises from the UK but internationally it is rising exponentially year-on-year with very good margins... Similar to you Active, I tend to stay away from the hyped up, pumped up stocks but if your very own strategy is productive, why the hell not! | reb_ban

11/6/2021 15:04 | RB Thank you. I have been investing for over thirty five years and I just buy recovery situations so the timing is more on the share price rather than the general market. Then further on favourable rns news. That is just my method, everyone should do what suits them. dyor active | srpactive
11/6/2021 14:29 | Interested to know what portion of revenue comes from the U.K.? Their website says they operate in 45 countries! They say they are 'Europes leading train and coach app'. I got in at 272 so down slightly, happy holding for now | ceteri
11/6/2021 14:01 | Good strategy Active but now is not the time to become overzealous with ones investing with the continuous inflationary threat but Trainline is a far dominant force than many believe outside of the UK...Think more laterally here folks! | reb_ban
11/6/2021 11:11 | L27 Yes agree, but I would prefer that as I just continue to increase with smallish lots, I have bought three lots recently and will do further on any positive rns. dyor active | srpactive
11/6/2021 10:27 | reasonably cautious trading this morning, its going to get noticed soon,GLA | lawson27
11/6/2021 10:09 | RR Yes it does seem Europe is opening up for us, especially in Spain with the new operators. Would be excellent if we forged a link with Mr Biden's rail spends in the US. dyor active | srpactive
10/6/2021 16:15 | This is becoming very interesting now, regardless of state intervention, its external markets (outside of the UK) remain buoyant... | reb_ban
10/6/2021 12:54 | market makers have played a blinder here reducing it to Nov 2020 level imo, looking for a bounce from here, GLA | lawson27
10/6/2021 11:33 | Great post Adminck and totally agree but I do know my kids use Trainline for the ease of use and also cannot be bothered to go elsewhere as they have the App. | davidosh
10/6/2021 10:38 | 52 week low basically which is rare these days post vaccine discovery | dealy
10/6/2021 09:05 | Excellent post Adminck | albert zog
09/6/2021 22:10 | I agree the good thing about Trainline is really just marketing. But where it does have an advantage is in booking complex multi leg journeys. You can do it all on one site, and you don't need to know which rail service it is. It's a one shop stop. When I booked London to Wick in Scotland it was much easier than booking separately on the England bit...I can't even remember which company though I guess I could Google it, and Scottish rail. | buoycat
09/6/2021 13:59 | Thank you for the info, I shall just have to wait and see. | srpactive
09/6/2021 11:21 | I think some of you are going to be very badly disappointed. The intercity franchise, LNER, which is wholly government ran, and has been for some years, has a very successful in-house booking engine, fulfilling millions of transactions each year (in normal times), and even has a rewards scheme attached. The government do not need to design a new system at all, they can simply just rebrand the one they already have. There's also some very bizarre misunderstandings around what Trainline actually provide. It is simply an interface to a centralised industry system (which is supported, updated and maintained by Worldline, and has been since the 1990s - on behalf of the industry and central government). Trainline, like any ticket seller, just plugs in to that system, and gains a commission on ticket sales (circa 5%, far less for season tickets). Trainline are not a rail booking supplier, they are (or were) a very good advertising company, that mislead people into thinking that they were the main place to buy tickets, despite in almost all cases, being more expensive, when their fees (which train operators are not allowed to charge) were added on. The tickets, pricing etc, all comes from the same industry system, Trainline don't have any "special access" to fares or availability. Even before this announcement, they have been rapidly losing ground in their white-label booking engines to SilverRail and other providers. | adminck
08/6/2021 13:34 | ox Yes and by then we will be 400p, 275p trade just gone through hopefully a sign. dyor active | srpactive |
