09/10/2020 17:39 | Guys, director will have bought in the marker. | bscuit
09/10/2020 17:01 | Does he? Has the book been closed?.... Just regarding driving block trades to on screen. You need to be careful not to double count the revenue that gives. Risk is. Currently broker charges 10c a Lot to do a deal over the phone on a block. That moves "on screen". Trader, trades on the screen at 5c a lot... Whats the voice broker not doing now? Not to say that electronic cant be more profitable.. just it doesnt create the volume by itself. Driving their current trades onto a screen takes away from voice. | dhoult12
09/10/2020 15:42 | Any idea how the Chairman can buy shares when we don't know the number of shares and the pricing for the share issue and he does. | spooky
09/10/2020 11:20 | What's the timing and pricing of the rights issue? | topvest
02/10/2020 12:03 | I would have thought a $64m EBITDA on $339.2m of revenue was acceptable to Icap? That's a 18.86% margin. I would also expect the brutal management style of an Icap to lower costs within Liquidnet and drive block traded revenues. At $550m that is 8.59 years to return your invetsment. | justintime9
02/10/2020 09:57 | Sorry I missed them , thank you . I need to stop skimming on Investegate . | bench2
01/10/2020 15:54 | Bench2, the liquidnet numbers for 2018, 2019 and 12 months to end June 20 are detailed in the Icap documents? Is that not good enough, or do you want more. | justintime9
01/10/2020 11:11 | No dead cat bounce today , no one seems to like this proposed acquisition , we need more info on the profitability and stability at Liquidnet .... but looks oversold at 220p | bench2
30/9/2020 23:30 | Could get messy on ex div day :L Might take 12 to 18 months but real value here after purchase. Will take a while to get ducks in a row and show improved profits. Management seem very pro-active, nows the time to buy if your a cash rich company. | dmore2
30/9/2020 23:28 | "The potential acquisition would be expected to transform TP ICAP's revenue growth profile, with almost half of the enlarged group's revenue coming from higher-growth businesses and the enlarged group's revenue growth profile expected to increase from low single digit to mid-single digit over the medium-term," the group stated. | bluemango
30/9/2020 21:11 | Liquidnet is a global brand that has over 1,000 signed asset managers as it's client base. The key to Liquidnets success is the integration into the asset managers order tables through its Order Management System that allows a Liquidnet to take all open orders on a passive basis. Hugely successful model and a steal at an initial $550m... Great for TP Icap. | justintime9
30/9/2020 18:25 | Issue seems to be, a few years ago it was all about "voice", paying all that for ICAP's brokers. Now they are buying electronic in those markets.. to erm put them all out of a job? Plenty of others do electronic well. Its not like its a new idea nor market to move into. One of the acquisitions was a mistake... | dhoult12
30/9/2020 16:31 | Well it's better to gain back some losses.Or do you prefer to sit on your losses and let them get bigger? Are you the perfect holder who waits till all.be wiped out?Carlillion executives prefer share holders like yourself! All the best | sick of it
30/9/2020 16:22 | Saved! Tad disingenuous after 41.5 loss on mis-timed purchase and sale - lol | bscuit
30/9/2020 15:49 | I bought back in at 232p. Saved about 14p as I sold at 246p. Meanwhile made profit on buying and selling mks.I'm staying here for long termThat was a trade | sick of it
30/9/2020 13:45 | They are giving much more that £50m away by cutting the dividend, as the placing will now need doing at a lower price. Rather suspect timing! | topvest
30/9/2020 10:40 | What an unstable company!Too bad I ever bought any of it.I've exited at 245. | sick of it
30/9/2020 08:45 | Market clearly doesn't like the intended acquisition. Had these on my watchlist for a while but will be taking them off now as there is simply too much uncertainty going forward. | salpara111
24/9/2020 14:24 | Well it's 271p now so I've bought too early. But I'll stick with in for now.X-divi date next Thursday | sick of it
21/9/2020 17:58 | Also looking at current September activity, I'm sure the activity has picked up, by quite a lot actually. | sick of it
21/9/2020 17:55 | They didn't say revenue was materially lower, they said trading activity was materially lower. So that affects broking revenue not data or analytics or institutional services. Did the market misunderstand this a bit? | sick of it
21/9/2020 16:15 | Bought today at 287.5p. It rose strongly on Friday but got caught in market sell off today. X-divi date is only 10 days away so that should provide some sort of support. | sick of it
07/8/2020 12:49 | I bought today. IMO far way oversold despite keeping the divi. Who is not "cautious" in the midst of this pandemic ? So IMO, a 11%+ drop is too exaggerated. | fuji99
07/8/2020 11:24 | 'materially' lower revenue for start of 2nd half (than 2019)- Hmmm....will wait for this to settle before buying | catscats |
