17/7/2018 07:34 | Let's see this play out today | tsmith2
16/7/2018 17:58 | chart turning | tsmith2
12/7/2018 20:53 | Yes, with 35P EPS this an next year forecast, the dividend is safe. Looks undervalued, albeit a little ex-growth. I'm more of a hold than a buy. | topvest
12/7/2018 18:03 | Interesting to see the initial sell off down to 247p by 9.30 was subsequently reversed to end near the days high on massive 27m volume ( normally 1.7m daily vol ) . Has this been oversold .. new EPS est circa 30p and well covered div of 16.8p makes the shares look too cheap , unless further profit warnings to come . As they have promoted from within the risk of a new CEO wanting to kitchen sink and then fix his option package at a bombed out level is not on the cards at present . I bought a small slice yesterday at 259p but with a view to buying more if it gets a second pasting . | bench2
12/7/2018 15:31 | tks knowing, will keep a watching brief here. I have enough MARS 10,000+ shares, divihelps but capital growth to follow after a long hot summer boosts their forecasts. Otherwise all a bit quiet, investors waiting to see how Trump gets on over the coming days. | ny boy
12/7/2018 15:22 | Might as well top up your MARS at current prices. These dropped following sacking of CEO after company realised that the targets set were achievable. | knowing
12/7/2018 15:05 | Why did these drop 40% recently on heavy volumes? Just come across these, so have put them on my watchlist monitor, looking for more opportunities, added a load of PHTM this morning at 101p, there are a few bottom fishing opportunities around but naturally they all come with varying degrees of risk. | ny boy
12/7/2018 14:11 | Everyone cheering when news of Ronnie Barker getting the tic tack announced. | meijiman
12/7/2018 14:07 | Yes, dividend is well covered. I would have thought it was fairly safe. | topvest
12/7/2018 14:05 | Voice broking is not the future, especially after MiFID II. | the knight of no
12/7/2018 11:18 | Just realised that at current valuation, if they maintain, this yields 6.5% on the dividend. Add in potential capital growth it looks extremely good value. | knowing
12/7/2018 10:55 | If thats the end of the seller there is going to be a strong rise ahead. | knowing
12/7/2018 08:21 | Added. Silly silly price | tsmith2
11/7/2018 15:58 | Looks like the start of shorts closing. Nice gap to fill at some stage but I would be happy with the Numis figure of 340p | knowing
11/7/2018 15:10 | Looking very oversold now. | knowing
11/7/2018 11:35 | Spob reason for the departure was simply that he did not and was not able to deliver on his promises. | knowing
11/7/2018 09:28 | Tp Icap (LON:TCAP) was upgraded by equities researchers at Numis Securities to a “buy” rating in a research note issued on Wednesday. The brokerage currently has a GBX 340 ($4.53) price objective on the stock. Numis Securities’ target price indicates a potential upside of 31.89% from the stock’s previous close. | knowing
10/7/2018 23:05 | sorry i'm not short just thinking out loud please ignore my gibberish | spob
10/7/2018 22:48 | Spob your just a deramper or shorter not really interested in your views | garydav5
10/7/2018 22:38 | Anyone think they might rebase the dividend maybe cut it down to around 12p ? | spob
10/7/2018 22:36 | re 48 yeah but price history is irrelevant now it's all about judging ongoing future business costs and new eps forecasts | spob
10/7/2018 22:02 | £2 would see the share price 60% - 70% lower than prices seen within the last 12 months. This is a decent company that made an operating profit of 260 million only recently, market cap is now less than 1.5 billion. Unless something really terrible comes out of the woodwork this is now very undervalued, even on a bad day the market cap should be north of 2 billion. | eastbourne1982
10/7/2018 21:20 | A disappointing update it has to be said. Seems a bit of an overreaction, but its left a bit of an uncertainty cloud with the sudden sacking of the CEO. | topvest
10/7/2018 21:10 | just to be clear not saying it will actually get to £2 just saying I might consider buying IF it does | spob
10/7/2018 21:05 | I might consider buying at £2 or lower but will let the dust settle for now There 'may' be further warnings | spob |
