Thanks HH, the elements we all invested back in 2015 look to be coming together, let’s hope there is some good news for us shareholders soon. Thanks for your input.

Yes that's right Mark.

CQCL's generating true randomness numbers was the vital precursor for CQCL's Quantum Key Encryption ("QKE") product Ironbridge -

23/06/2015 08:30 UKREG Touchstone Gold Limited CQCL investment
" ... In addition to Touchstone making the investment, Touchstone investee GOS Systems has been granted exclusive reseller distribution rights over CQCL's forthcoming Quantum Key Encryption ("QKE") products which will be targeted at governments and corporations that have high security requirements. The sales right covers European sales of the products and the products are expected to be available for sale from 2016 onwards. The sales right has been granted for a period of 3 years following the first availability of product.
The Directors believe that QKE products will become essential for sensitive communications as soon as the requisite infrastructure is developed. Countries as diverse as China, Russia, the United States of America and the United Kingdom are investing heavily in quantum technologies, and quantum cryptography is a vital aspect of the motivation for these investments. Given the advantages that quantum cryptography will have over classical systems of secure communications, governments and security agencies will be an important and large market.
GOS is an established supplier to law enforcement and security agencies in UK, Europe, Middle East and South Asia. GOS's established customer network and market expertise is capable of driving sales of CQCL's forthcoming QKE products, and supports GOS's strategy of capitalising on the increasing demand for secure communication products. ... "Certified True Randomness Created by Cambridge Quantum Computing
Cambridge Quantum Computing
28 Jul, 2017, 17:32 BST
"… The most critical component in any quantum technology or quantum computing based communications methodology is the ability to generate random numbers. All quantum key distributions will require such basic ingredients.
There has, until now, been no true "certified" randomness in the world, and even primitive quantum mechanical based random number generators are not device independent or certified. Cambridge Quantum Computing has invented a certified true randomness generation protocol that is device independent. ...
The company said "Having spent a number of years perfecting the research basis for RNG, we are in the early stages of commercialising this essential technology that in many ways has for decades been the 'holy grail' for quantum communications." …"

Generating true randomness numbers has long been the holy grail of encryption ... and our 'sister company' CQCL has cracked it.

The best quote to describe 'true randomness encryption' comes from KiwiMonk:

KiwiMonk 16 May '15 - 20:30 - 5297 of 8201 2 0
" ... Then add an UNBREAKABLE solution....to keep data encrypted between parties.
silver bullet stuff.
Name their price now. ..."

Note that organisations need to 'future-proof' their encrypted communications NOW against FUTURE code cracking by quantum computers.

ITS sold just 17% of its holding in Cambridge Quantum Computing Ltd. (CQCL)in 2017, so we still retain the vast majority of our holding. We therefore have a direct exposure to CQCL's success, not just an indirect exposure via GOS Systems.

And you can't get much more state of the art than Ironbridge: "the world’s first commercially available certifiable Quantum Cryptographic Device".

The reasons why Ilyas Khan awarded the European distribution rights to GOS Systems remain valid (as indeed does that contract, unless CQCL wish to buy it out - investors into TGL bought in and/or held on that basis).

P.S. Thanks Mark.

All that sounds great, if, we are the intended distribution company for cqcl products/tech. I think we definetly were but I am not sure of that anymore. GOS may not be state of the art any longer, added to that we have sold some of our shares in cqcl. Trying to remain positive but things have definitely not gone as they intended, that much is obvious.

Good to hear from you HH, it is clearly and exciting space atm, we have all the right ingredients and the reason I invested 4 years ago appear to be bearing fruits. Lets just hope ITS comes back strong in the coming year and we get a slice of the action.

Hedge,

The CQCL hiring is a great sign for CQCL no doubt, if that translates into anything for our investment then that would be fantastic. However we do ultimately have ITS shares in our accounts and not GOS, so that is slightly concerning to me anyway.

Chesy & Peter,

I'm surprised that neither of you have commented upon the above news that CQCL is hiring about twenty new staff.
That's the most encouraging news we've had since TGL was delisted a few years ago, because it shows that CQCL is winning massive business, and is very well funded.
And if GOS Systems can capture even a relatively small part of that success, then it should have it made.

Note that two of the jobs are for Ironbridge, for which GOS has the European distribution rights for three years from the date of launch:
• Global Head of Sales (IronBridge Encryption Device)
Cambridge Quantum Computing – United Kingdom
• Customer Implementation & Relationship Manager (IronBridge Encryption Device)
Cambridge Quantum Computing – United Kingdom

Also note this statment on CQCL's website:

"CAMBRIDGE QUANTUM COMPUTING
CQC is a world leading independent quantum computing company that develops architecture-agnostic, enterprise quantum solutions to tackle some of industry’s most intriguing challenges.
We are a globally recognised leader in all of our fields including quantum chemistry, quantum machine learning, quantum cybersecurity and quantum software. Our technologies are allowing some of the world’s largest chemical, energy, financial and material science organisations to harness the transformative impact of quantum computing."

Focus on the big picture.

The ITS website is a relatively minor side issue, but it could be that it's being updated, as there was virtually nothing on it anyway.
Though the important ones are CQCL's and GOS's.
Or maybe ITS is to be acquired by CQCL, so the ITS website won't be needed anymore?

It would make sense for CQCL to acquire GOS Systems, especially if it's planning an IPO.
(Note that I haven't spoken to the company recently, and my views are speculation.)

AI (artificial intelligence) companies are currently being awarded very high valuations in London, and Ilyas Khan is bound to have noticed that!

E.g. Sensyne Health (SENS), which floated on AIM last August.

SENS's market cap. at its IPO price of 175p was £225M., which demonstrates investor enthusiasm for this type of company, and the shortage of available stocks. SENS's interim turnover was £39K.

Thanks.

Another exciting aspect of CQCL is the convergence of artificial intelligence and quantum computing:

"CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom, May 15, 2019 —We provide an overview of Quantum AI and Machine Learning, the synthesis of AI and quantum computing. Whereas conventional Machine Learning is based on probabilities, its quantum counterpart replaces these with amplitudes resulting in a much more sophisticated decision-making. Potential applications include financial analysis, pharmaceutical design, and autonomous driving."

In view of the market enthusiasm for AI stocks, this won't harm CQCL's valuation at all.

One AI stock, Blue Prism (PRSM), has more than 20-bagged since it floated on AIM in 2016 at 78p, to its current share price of 1,790p (market cap. £1,371.5M.)

The company is currently valued at nearly twenty five its annual revenue of £55.2M., despite a pre-tax loss of £26M.

Earlier this year PRSM raised £100M. in a placing, which is a sign of investor enthusiasm for AI stocks:

24/01/2019 10:41 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Blue Prism Group PLC Result of Placing
" ... The Placing was conducted by way of an accelerated bookbuild. The Bookbuilding Process has now closed and the Company is pleased to announce that a total of 9,090,910 Placing Shares have been conditionally placed by Investec with certain existing and new institutional investors at an issue price of 1,100 pence per share (the "Placing Price"), raising approximately GBP100.0 million (before expenses) for the Company. ..."

Totally respect that and wouldn’t want to compromise anything at all. Was just asking your opinion on whether you think they might possibly use the quantum technology within the GOS platform. I have thought this for a while now and was wondering if we were on the same page? I can see vast potential here.

Yes. GOS Systems have the European reseller distribution rights for three years from the date of launch.
And Ilyas Khan has large shareholdings in both CQCL and here.

But for commercial reasons they may wish to keep their cards close to their chests, so its probably best to respect that.
