invisage they have little almost no dept,if touch is not profitable and maybe this is because they cant put the money in to make it happen,it can be sold , although they would need a buyer quick?, the other buisenesses in touch are good the verticals and breifings ,so this must minimise are risks.

If things are going a good as i have been told indirectly!! then this will be taken out by the company sooner than later. VI will ahve the last laugh on the city.

As for rasing money i feel they may need to raise money later on in the year!!(thats if they have not done a MBO)but this will not happen till all the news has come out and a forward looking statement on the growth of the company, which will be out in Sept. He will not let any insti in at a cheap price as they stuffed him last time.

Plus any fund raising will be over 8p at least, as they bought shares at 8p not long ago, so they will not let anyone buy in cheaper than them, when they have turned the company around.

Dont forget this is cap at 4 million which is nothing for a company with growth prospects of over 25% INTERNET IS THE FUTURE FOR B2B

I believe there is money to be made from current prices but this is still very risky. As many have already stated one of the risks is a big placing to fund the marketing which is an absolute must for a business like Touch Local if it is to continue to grow.

I dont like being diluted, well being honest i dont mind being diluted as long as its earnings enhancing. The management have diluted my holding in the past and to this very day AFAIAA they have failed to generate any profit.

On the basis of NAV i would be a buyer, but would not expect much. The two companies split are worth alot more then what the current market cap suggests. Briefings is a profit making company...the local side will get a less weighting.

As some of you would know i have been a follower of TOU for a long time, they have made a number of mistakes in their approach. But this is to be expected in the small cap arena. Hence why i allocate a very small amount of my capital if any at all to small caps. I like big businesses that have been in the game for many years and have made most of the mistakes in the book that they have become experts in thier field. Until recently Touch had no real management with local directory experience, i suspect their recruits from Yahoo and Microsoft is what gives Touch hope in the future.

Vincent always did tell me, its all about building the infrastructure and foundation. Once thats in place we can build on it, i believe the former has been done.
IMHO i would say they currently have the best outlook in the last 2 years since ive been following the stock. But still highly risky one risk being will they have enough cash to continue operating?

Hi m8

I will be going to the turkish side, as i have a house on that side, my wife is from their, we always go about three times a year. When are you going? and at what hotel will you be staying, don't see why we carn't meet up for a drink and meal one night.

At the momment I am setting up a business up over their, which involves the internet, they have very slow connections out their, so I am going to sell a software package that will speed up their connection. Carn't say more than that as it is at an early stage.

I use W.H Ierland as my broker to buy the stock?

Off to Cyprus for 3 weeks, dont forget the last time they raised money it was at 8p. They are in a closed period now I have spoken to VI on a number of occations and he carn't buy any more shares as it could take him over the 30% and then he would have to make a bid for the company, I know their are shorters still in this as they were expecting this to go bust, so they will have to buy in on any rise will buy another 200,000 on Monday see if i can get the same price as you waiting for some funds to come in.

which country are u going to?..i now think there is no stock in the market...there is a seller(OF ABOUT 800) who will sell into rising prices..these should settle at 7-9p...if there is good news about a tie up or touch local doing well then these will be 12p..im still curious to how they will raise money to advertise and market....there is a decent buyer in these as well so downside limited short term...mr,isaacs has always been v v bullish and has put his money where his mouth is(even if he can afford to) and he now has to deliver...promises will not be good enough as he has had some fundraising and will have to prove to his s.holders that the wait has been worth it...i hope so(i hold loads now)

No value has been put on this side of growing Touch busniess by the city

Touch group also specialises in helping brands to buy and plan their advertising campaigns on internet search engines. For example, Touch group bids for 40 clients for key words on internet search engines who are spending between 10,000 to 50,000 per month online.Touch started this area of business in oct 2005 and within few months has rapidly grown to become currently a over 100,000 per month revenue or over 1.2 million a year and growing business for Touch.

Big names eye up Big Mouth Media

By Ben Harrington
(Filed: 21/07/2006)

Digital marketing group Big Mouth Media is understood to have appointed the corporate finance boutique Ion Equity to advise on a sale, float or recapitalisation after receiving a number unsolicited approaches from a variety of potential buyers.

Sources said the private equity firms Isis, ECI Ventures and 3i expressed an interest in acquiring the company, while trade buyers such as WPP and Aegis could also be interested.

Big Mouth Media specialises in helping brands to buy and plan their advertising campaigns on internet search engines. For example, Big Mouth bids for key words on internet search engines for its clients.

The Scottish-based business was founded by the husband and wife team Steve Leach and Heather Luscombe in 1997. Since then the company has grown dramatically and is expected to make a profit of between £3m and £4m in 2006 on turnover of around £15m. If the business is sold, it is thought it could fetch between £50m and £60m.

Speculation is mounting that a rival search engine marketing business, Search Works, is also considering a flotation or sale. Since the beginning of the year, there have been several deals in the sector. In Germany, the private equity firm Carlyle acquired a stake in the digital marketing firm Global Media. The European digital and search marketing industry remains highly fragmented and is not dominated by full service agencies, giving the potential to create a European leader through mergers and acquisitions.

.................................................
Touch groups search engine marketing business is worth atleast 2.6 million
if we give half of the value of big mouth

sales forcast for touch by ed 11.6 million for 2006
..........................................sales.......rating.......worth
Touch Briefings..........................t/o 7.5 million *2 =.......15 million
Touch online.............................t/o 2.5 million *2 =.........5 million
Touch search engine marketing............t/o 1.3 million *2 =.........2.6 million

Touch group Total worth 22.6 MILLION or 30p a share

please note I have discounted the above ratings for touch by 60%
sector ave ratings is to 4.8*sales

Since the board hold a lot of stock, particulaly the Chairman & the pension fund, they would be more than reluctant to part with what looks to be a collection of very undervalued assets. They paid a lot more for their holdings. They have always known the value of what they are doing.

A fine theory, but its clear that the money came from another of the Chairman's companies, and was needed to fast track the Verticles.
Its only a small amount of money in the whole picture, they will have invested much more in the company directly.

Things certainly have improved on the charts, time & the coming AGM will tell.

Something just occurred to me: wonder if that purchase of Vertical's revenue is partly a 'poison pill' in case TOU attracts the advances of predators. Perhaps they really want to put the co. on the map themselves and not be interfered with.

Wanting some proper figures and research before investing isn't deramping.

"This one's going to go up shortly on big news", when it was said several times goodness knows how long ago, is definitely ramping however.

Fact it, noone actually knows what's going on, so its currently a gamble, simple as that. No way can it be any sort of properly researched investment decision, because none of the crucial information is public at the moment.

Buying it because its much lower than before isn't a reason.

Its also made 2 previous attempts to break away from what appears to be a bottom. Both were accompanied by ramping.

If anyone's going to ramp it, at least do it properly - gather a few figures on how many businesses are doing paid advertising on the Touch Local sites for instance. All you need to do is a random selection of local searches, see how many companies have paid on each one and multiply it up by the cost of hosting / advertising.

My best ramping argument is that its a bad market and yet the share price hasn't kept on falling, its kept on hitting a base, which has allowed the moving averages to flatten out. So a rise now may be more significant than the previous ones.

Now I'll just wait for the "if you don't take risks you'll never win" posts...
anyone convinced by those arguments deserves to lose money.

Charts: { only a basic knowledge}
If you run the charts through the RSI is now very positive & the share has passed through the 100 days mark.
The next stop will be the 200 day ?
Well above 6p.
Its just possible T.B has picked the bottom on this one.
