12/7/2006 22:24 | By selling off Briefings of course, no problem, an easy sale. Keep Verticles & Local, but perhaps not my continued interest. | haydock
12/7/2006 22:05 | if touch local doesnt take off.....we are all in trouble..i cant see much cash on balance sheet...first a loan by mr.isaacs and then a placing...what next a rights issue?how will they raise more money?? | patviera
12/7/2006 20:11 | 2006E is still to show a loss. 2007E is expected to show £1.2 profit. I read the current and previous note...touch local still to deliver. Briefings look ok. Buying now is not for the short term. not sure of the cash position..but the recent raising by directors si to get the company thru this yr...I reckon another raising is possible but the touch local has to deliver next yr as this has taken longer than antcipated to do well. | jailbird
12/7/2006 17:39 | Well one of my first recovery plays has just started to come in DGM? this will be next soon!! | thinkbig?
12/7/2006 09:06 | where did the ceo say they will beat these numbers.? | jailbird
12/7/2006 09:04 | jailbird - 12 Jul'06 - 08:38 - 605 of 605 looks like you have not read the forcast note ED forcasted sales for 2006 11.6 million ceo said they will beat these numbers sales for 2007 14.4 million | hamidahamida
12/7/2006 08:38 | hami, you figures of 11.6M for thin air? hoping to beat the forecast?...i call that ramping | jailbird
12/7/2006 08:36 | Plenty of investor on the side line still with this but as they say just wait your time and you will be rewarded, all it will take is a tie up with one of the big internet comapnys, which they are working on now news should be out very soon of a tie up with NTL or Yahoo. | thinkbig?
11/7/2006 22:36 | clear picture is building up as i said before as long as they are showing good growth thats good enough for me the share price will take care of it self we have publishing side thats growing fast over 100% more reports than last year lot of verticals will come on stream later part of this year online advertising side started in october 2005 and has grown RAPIDLY month on month revenues are currently 100,000. THAT IS 1.2 MILLION FOR 2006 touchlocal has turned a corner revenue starting to pick up all in all we have ++++++++++++ signs in every part of the group SP at all time low ..HOW CAN WE GO WRONG 11.6 million t/o for 2006 ( They are hoping to beat the forcast) Soon market will turn +++++++ | hamidahamida
11/7/2006 10:22 | D'ont I remember that Briefings get paid up front for each report as well? | haydock
11/7/2006 09:54 | did anyone forget,, from anual report 2005, the team manages the online mareting campaign for a number of clients who are spending between 10,000 and 50,000 per month in online advertising.the area of activity started in october 2005 and has grown RAPIDLY month on month .monthly revenues are currently 100,000. so thats another million revenue this year at least for touch local side. | rossstar3
11/7/2006 09:49 | all im saying is yahoo lol still waiting, any deal would be good. | rossstar3
11/7/2006 08:33 | This looks like a 1 year hold now, its not goig to happen over night. Recovery is on track now, plus you are getting in at the bottom, their is a seller around and he has about 400,000 to shift once he has gone we should start to move up which in turn will bring momentume into the share price. Looks like plenty of people are watching this but knowbody is willing to buy shares yet could be waiting for next results in september, their are plenty of deals on the table but none have been signed yet, one is with a big media company talk of Yahoo and NTL for touch is rich content web search pages | thinkbig?
11/7/2006 08:19 | Well, when we have an AGM, somebody can attempt to establish how the loan is being repaid. Certainly there should be cash flow in Briefings, and it should be repayable. | haydock
10/7/2006 22:50 | The new management is confident that it will publish in excess of 60 journals Chief executive Tamer Ozmen said: "Over the past 18 months the Group has invested considerable effort in realigning and restructuring both divisions and I am very pleased to see the benefits of this, firstly in the publishing division and I look forward to this now being closely followed by the online division." PUBLISHING DIVISION HAS NOW STARTED TO DELIVER BEING CLOSELY FOLLOWED BY THE ONLINE DIVISION It was in the ed report touch online side of the group will grow this year but the real big growth will start next year by 2009 they should have sales revenue same as publishing side Briefings is the cash cow right now and its growing they were hoping to do 50 reports now they will do more than 60 reports this year..COME ON This is over 20+% above forcast Briefing side alone will produce over 7.5 million sales sector ave 4.8* sales = market cap sales 7.5 million * lets give 2.0 = 15 million m/cap or 18p share price 2.8*sales discounted for past let downs no value given to online or vertical side of the group ED forcast for total group sales for 2006..... 11.6 million | kingspot
10/7/2006 22:04 | haydock..so why does it mention aggregate monthly revenue | patviera
10/7/2006 21:00 | I don't think so. They have the future revenue from the new Verticles upto about 450k. Nothing to do with Briefings normal revenue as far as I remember. | haydock
10/7/2006 16:56 | does tactrade own 50pct of rev of briefings or is it just a loan?? monthly rev fig seems to mean its not a loan? | patviera
10/7/2006 16:53 | fair enought yump,, also to remember they have more staff to pay however this increased turnover and more profit .At least this shows they can deliver . maybe there will be another statement tommoro sayng how well touch local is doing wouldnt it be better to release seperate statements to get everyones attention? | rossstar3
10/7/2006 15:22 | basically touchlocal is still waiting to deliver! | jailbird
10/7/2006 14:59 | Keep the doubters quiet... Oh yes, statements such as these are amazingly reassuring. Now I am totally up and running with the latest facts and figures: "In Touch Local, the Group's online business finder services, a major investment into its structure was completed by the end of the year 2005, creating a stable foundation and the opportunity for the division to move forward. The Company has been building on this structure with state of the art enhancements and are now seeing the traffic and revenue improving. As the functional sophistication of the site continues to improve, the Group will start realising on the investment that it has in the high profile Touch Local division of the business." Nice to have such clear cut forecasts for the realisation of the investments in functional sophistication. | yump
10/7/2006 14:52 | We have to remeber though that all the success & the cash flow is from the paper side of things. Not Local & not Verticles Its now as I have always thought a possibility that this company can afford to build the on-line future using the profits from the other divisions. One sold & one providing the cash flow on-going. The Verticles development is the real plus this year that the market has ignored. Hopefully we will soon have two companies with cash-flow & could float one on Aim, and seperate in years to come. | haydock
10/7/2006 14:42 | so what they said in there annual report touch breifings is doing very well ,so now they are being honest and acheiving there goals that should keep all the douters quiet. | rossstar3
10/7/2006 14:37 | One step forward and two steps back...and even some big leaps both ways seems to be way of it lately. So when I found this I was so impressed I'm passing it along! | coolert
10/7/2006 14:17 | a deal to do what tBIG? do we know what last yr's turnover for briefing was? | jailbird |
