As I have said a few times before, this company is ridiculously undervalued on what we know now let alone what they are about to achieve....

Todays news was very welcome. I do not hold these shares based on what this company is right now but on where they are likely to go! Today's news confirms to me they are heading in the right direction with very capable management.

Honestly look at some of the dross PLCs out there making outrageous end-of-the-rainbow claims without even the basic professionism to back it up! Then compare them to this company who clearly outlined there vision and have just turned an 'inadequate' into 'good'. This is not to be underestimated or brushed under the carpet! It is clear sign on the PLC barometer indicating that there is likely to be a lot of high pressure ahead! I don't know what the rest of you see but my eyes are fixed on the sunny days to come!

graham,

Currently...
I would have thought if and when they win contracts in the South, they would appoint the required management...

They do have vacancies for GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners etc in the South for Urgent Care Services...

Have a look at the management structure in Vocare, nothing south of midlands.

graham,

I don't think so...

Look at the coverage map in their presentation..

They cover a large area with all their subsidiaries...

Currently, Physio covers more in the South...

There are over 200 CCGs in England.. Vocare has only around 10% of CCGs...

"Gut feeling is that totally will concentrate midlands and north in future" where wages are cheap moving more to the south and you have to start paying more in the business model may not work, also moving up to good from an inadequate may affect revenue but probably costing more therefore will affect the bottom line of the company.

Warning to all new newbies here watch out for the gang or pump and dump merchants you will notice on blue days they are out here in strength getting people to buy only to go missing once I've taken the shorts out.

Do your own research and don't get stuck holding someone else's bad money

Gut feeling is that totally will concentrate midlands and north in future. It’s where are strongest and seem to be essier to employ health staff.

Totally agree Sikh that opportunities exist far more widely than Staffordshire, the location for today's fabulous double upgrade, infact right across the country of course they exist, but my reason for highlighting Staffordshire in particular was this...

"microscope - 18 Oct 2018 - 13:25:20 - 5837 of 6492 Totally Health - 2014 onwards - TLY
Yesterday's Staffordshire announcement is potentially very significant. Virgin Care recently ended its 270 million contract over 7 years with East Staffordshire, so it seems to me as though Vocare is exceptionally well placed to add further lucrative contracts with the authority."

Micro,

"Staffordshire as highlighted recently in the thread is an area where major opportunities exist"

Not just Staffordshire.... other CCGs should note the improvements in such a short space of time.... and it should help when bidding for new contracts, not just IUC ...

Excellent news... moving up 2 CQC ratings...

It shows that TLY are working hard to resolve any issues they have and crucially that they do care about them... as they were expecing to...

"In an almost unprecedented move, Vocare has improved the Royal Stoke Urgent Care Centre ("UCC") service by two CQC ratings in six months, moving it from 'Inadequate' to 'Good'. It also improved the rating of both the GP Out of Hours ("OOH") and NHS 111 services to 'Good', meaning that Staffordshire is now rated 'Good' across the board."

If they can move up 2 CQC ratings within 6 months then I don't think it should take long to resolve the 'inadequate' ones...

Thanks graham, my mistake, the wording is none inadequate, will amend my earlier post, but the sentiment fully remains - this is a huge step forward when bidding for contracts. And Staffordshire as highlighted recently in the thread is an area where major opportunities exist

grahamwales didn't see your post but wasn't me who voted it down just goes to show even long-term shareholders here that promote the company can't criticise it even in the slightest without the gang here voting down the post

good luck surely has to be the bottom now and the company should be putting its money where its mouth is and starting the share buyback

microscope they are NOT delivering the best possible healthcare they are average sorry good which is in the middle of the ratings the fifth one being closed down.

Also the RNS says there's is no more inadequate it doesn't say they are all good you still have a few which are "Requires improvement" but why concern ourselves with the facts here

From the RNS

"Following the rerating, Totally is pleased to confirm that there are now no longer any 'Inadequate' ratings across the entirety of the Vocare group's 24 services." Doesn't say all a good now

There are four ratings that we give to health and social care services: outstanding, good, requires improvement and inadequate.

Outstanding
The service is performing exceptionally well.

Good
The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

Requires improvement
The service is not performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.

Inadequate
The service is performing badly and we've taken action against the person or organisation that runs it.

Superb news this morning. A massive well done to Wendy and the team who have shown real commitment and made the investment to ensure that TLY is about delivering the best possible care and service in the shortest possible timeframe. i'm sure even now the work will continue to upgrade these to excellent though as with OFSTED so with the CQC that will probably take longer!

KNigel and gowlane have hit on the key I think - when bidding for new contracts, Vocare can now point to its 100% satisfactory + (edit: not 'good+) ratings and I think this will be a real fillip to their chances

Very encouraging news this morning.

Enthusiasm for what they do comes shining through that RNS.

It must put us in a good standing with the NHS now when bidding for new contracts.

Well done to the team!
