Having watched a fair bit of the game in Galle I think we made a mistake not going a bit earlier. It looked a fantastic venue.

Don't you mean may or could equate to additional revenue? if you win more contracts?

"111 calls still increasing year on year, which equates to additional revenue for Vocare."

Just a thought but the choice of the word clueless is interesting given this share continues to plummet to new lows week after week. A strange one that.

Graham,

Correct. Thanks.

It was why some of us were saying that the concerns expressed over the balance sheet were GROSSLY overplayed and those making the claims clearly clueless about the company and the NHS.

As the NHS rollout the IUC requirements then things will fall into place...
As we move forward, I also expect more cross-selling...

It was also clarification why they need to improve ratings.

Each contract is different - generally when anyone signs an NHS contract there are indicative activity volumes, monetary value and KPIs - all of these are considered during the contract period
Generally on activity there is an indication of expected levels and then there is a tolerance where no adjustments are made - so say + / - 2% wouldn’t result in any payment adjustments - but anything outside of this is discussed.

With urgent care services there are big seasonal variances along with bank holidays - these are all factored in of course in all planning assumptions
KPIs are also a major factor and are monitored closely

Those last 2 paras sound good and tie in with what Wendy said at the agm about showing more progress in 2H - I had interpreted her comments as suggesting operational improvements starting to pay off rather than higher receipts due to more business so it's good to get the clarification.

Is the quote from an email response?

We have confirmed to investors previously that Vocare receives payment in month from the NHS - so, for example, for June activity we receive payment in June - Contracts are generally block contracts so payments received monthly and then adjusted periodically (varies across contracts ) to reflect actual demand.

As we know the busiest times are during winter months, this is when Vocare generate a lot more income but costs remain the same. Expect a better second half Sept to March than the first half.

Margins will improve along with revenue.

gl,

Excellent post...

"Having looked at the Justin Waite video, the concerns about the balance sheet look vastly overdone to me."

EXACTLY.. vastly over played..

"Wouldn’t be surprised if they hadn’t spent £1m on restructuring Vocare in H1 too. If so then they are maybe not too far off breakeven cash flow wise as far as recurring costs go."

I believe they paid a lot less than they were expecting and discounted the original expected price, allowing for any concerns and restructuring costs.

"So in theory they could survive with a lot less cash on the balance sheet and function perfectly well. But best to have that buffer of course."

That's what the company has also said...

"The Company holds surplus cash resources which are not required in the normal day-to-day management of its business so the Directors intend to use the authority granted by the Resolution to make market purchases of Ordinary Shares as a method of returning that surplus cash to Shareholders. "

"What that suggests is that they are well enough financed to execute their business plan."

If they are in the process of Adding and Building then it depends on what they plan to buy next... I reckon they will use the same proven strategy of paying some cash up front, followed by performance related deferred payments...

I've asked the company if it can get a cash bridge into the public domain in order to reconcile the "cash generation continued to be strong" comment with the cash outflows shown in the results. If they've got a convincing story here, around one-offs, they should get it out.

Having looked at the Justin Waite video, the concerns about the balance sheet look vastly overdone to me.

With no borrowings to speak of, Totally are effectively financed by their creditors, which benefits them as they are not tying up any of their own funds in working capital.

You can work it out, it takes them 49 days on average to collect their receivables, but they take 119 days to settle their payables, so they are financed to the tune of 70 days.

Receivables are about one eighth of annual revenues so cash flow seems steady enough.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they hadn’t spent £1m on restructuring Vocare in H1 too. If so then they are maybe not too far off breakeven cash flow wise as far as recurring costs go.

So in theory they could survive with a lot less cash on the balance sheet and function perfectly well. But best to have that buffer of course.

What that suggests is that they are well enough financed to execute their business plan.

"Pursuant to AIM Rule 17, following receipt of a shareholder analysis report of the Company's share register as at 30 September 2018 and having made appropriate enquiries with the relevant institutions, the Company has become aware that Lombard Odier Investment Managers, Miton Asset Management, Schroder Investment Management Limited and Canaccord Genuity Group Inc no longer have notifiable (3% or higher) interests in the Company."
