Two points,
1, he's already got a job at Braveheart.
2, What skills could he bring to HS ?

I know it seems at odds with point 1

What's that phrase ?

" you know when you've been Tango'd "

Except the gamblers don't.

Had the put option been in place TOM would have had to issue over 1.2Bn shares to raise the final £775k at 0.00075p/share.

Sad to say but selling 1,000,000 and recovering £800 is better than leaving it in for the inevitable ground zero.

And at around the same time of his £90k+ pay rise take a look at the presentation that was put out. Particularly page 11.

Why oh why oh why is this allowed to continue with no questions asked?

The EGM is many years too late and shareholders are paying the price.

Both of these BBs are converging! Reichy's thread are many years behind the pace but they are getting there.

Still one or two stalwarts who are MIA.

Fenners wasn't it Arnie Scwartzenegger who said the immortal line 'I'll be back' in the Terminator. Very similar to a well known MIA. Perhaps that poster is more Annie than Arnie.

At the appropriate moment for BOD, Groat may advise a tame receiver that notwithstanding ALL the efforts made by each Director, the project / projects have failed due to circumstances outside their control. Having used their best endeavours, he
is preparing to make the severance arrangements in the ‘usual’manner and as there will be little cash left - except of course for the receiver’s
charges, will the receiver kindly approve such action in advance before taking over and dealing with the formalities and closing the company.
All very neat and organised so the directors or some of them can spend more time on their other directorial interests. JP will maintain the stance that he is an accomplished operator having gained experience in two complex businesses of which he was key player and looks forward to more exciting challenges.

Do the funders of the last funding realise that their money is going to pay the CEO’s wages, whilst nothing is happening?

That post from Rmart says it all.every time the funding is delaying, the CEO, John Potter earns another £20,000.How can yo earn that amount of money and fail every time?
How can Tom earn £10,000 or dollars a month and it goes straight into The CEO’s salary?
Shareholders were never advised of that fact.
However if the funding doesn’t arrive this month, the EGM WILL be called and the BOD will be call to account. If the funding arrives, then hallelulya. All will be forgiven.

What's the point of calling an EGM when the actual AGM is next month?

1, A lot of ex-PET shareholders !
So they know the game - narrative , it's not a shock they have a whole generations worth of experience here - no I mean that , about 20 years or more no exaggeration !

Nothing learned.

2, "Freeze" some wages ? Anyone who awarded themselves such a massive wage rise for achieving so very little (if anything tangible for shareholders) does not give a fig.
3, Help the company ? The company is clearly there to help the directors - don't mistake it.
4, Silence ? They don't do silence they do sporadic , couched , caveated narrative, and it works. Shareholders have swallowed it for years and ignored all the warnings.
5, "Remember we are paying your wages" - not unless you are buying new shares you are not. As shareholders you have exercised no control , if you remove him at the AGM he will depart with a fortune based on the new higher salary and you have already Paid , its only new money to come that has any (minor) influence at all. Remember there is no business to fund this debacle.

6, "No reassuring words from anyone" - aha the crux of the matter ! No actual progress for years , no business, massive losses , but if only there were some more reassuring words everything would be ok !
Don't you see that is the problem - the willingness to ignore reality and settle for reassuring words !
7, PUT option - I said day one get the details ! Anyone written to the board for an explanation in detail of what that would mean ? No I thought not , reassuring words much more important to the gamblers than reality.
Said it would trash the share price and it has - biggest trashing ever and still they "hope"
8, As far as not working again... they already have other jobs to turn to !

9, All the whining now the share price has reached a low - it is irrelevant. Always said the only thing that matters is the company having a profitable, cash generating business - and it has not. Take a look at some of the thousands of alternatives available , you know companies that do stuff !

2 Posts on the gamblers thread this morning - which I think are truly tragic.

So if I just take some of what is written:-

goulding1215

That is why we have called an EGM to answer those questions

There are a lot of ex-PET shareholders NOW TOM shareholders. They will remember that all 3 directors of PET froze their wages to help the company. Still waiting for the TOM CEO to freeze some if not all of his wages to help TOM. Also apologise for the awful fund raising known as a PUT, resulting in the huge share price drop. SILENCEis golden with this CEO. Come on John is the finance arriving before June 30? Or is the delay rns already written. Remember we are paying your wages.

No reassuring words from anyone
To be honest what could they say that would have any credence
Whoever approved the put option shouldn't work again !

Where do you start with that lot?

Yr ending 2021 the ceo was on £139k yr.
In January 2022 tomco started to get $10k per month from hso.
Yr ending 2022 the ceo wage was £233k

$120k \ 1.25 = £96k

Wage rise £94k

In the meantime?
