Valkor is involved in multiple tar sands projects in Utah. It has a stake in TomCo Energy, the parent company of Greenfield Energy, which is drilling three exploratory wells at its Tar Sands II site in the Uinta Basin in Utah.

Its not is drilling, they have drilled 3 wells.

So, confirmation that Heavy Sweet Oil has also started drilling exploration wells on their lease right next door to the TS2 'D' Tract. No doubt the drilling rig just moved straight onto their job after completing the Greenfield exploration wells...

Quadrise has already demonstrated it can convert oil from this area into MSAR and bioMSAR. One of Valkor’s other interests in the Uinta Basin, which we infer is likely to be Heavy Sweet Oil LLC, has started exploration drilling at its site and expects to begin production drilling there this summer, assuming it receives the necessary permits. As discussed in our March note, this would result in oil being available for on-site trials converting oil to bioMSAR and MSAR during CY H222, potentially resulting in commercial sales by the end of CY 2022."

That is the same Valkor that left the Greenfield JV to devote their time to their projects.
I have said before that if anything is to come from this , it is Valkor that have played a blinder....

US headline inflation reaches 8.5%
Surely that means the Fantasy Cort project cashflow forecast (by Greenfield see their own presentation)
now must rise from a shortfall of $175m to $190m already ?

Everyday that the cost goes up , makes the fantasy project less likely - even their own - likely optimistic CF forecast was $175m so we can assume it would now need in excess of $200m

Why lend that when you can buy profitable established business instead?
