Hi Bungee .. There is an additional 2 Mill sell on AQSE after your buy so I think the slight share price drop is fair enough on this occasion.

There are around 2 Mill more sells than buys today.

I buy 2m, it doesn't go up. Someone sells 2m and it goes down.
Bloody typical TOM share price reaction!

This performance in share price is appalling.
But on the flip side if PQE deal is done all will be able to grab a larger chunk of TOM.
As I don't see news before Easter.

Also NONE of that agreement stacks up with granting a production lease on 300 acres or so for a small rent and % of revenue.

It's all TOO odd.

TD - yes despite the other thread saying there was interest from other parties in TSHII , the same was prepared to extend and extend the option period for TOM.

Why ?

Given the option period had to have sizeable cash paid to secure it , someone else could have come in and offered less and TSHII would still have netted more as the option expired and the deposit was non-refundable.

Remember it's business and the owners of TSHII have an obligation to obtain as much cash as they can for it.

That tells me , there was no other demand for the 10% - certainly not at that price.
The whole deal was oddly structured in the first place.
Pay a deposit to lock TOM in otherwise its wasted cash.

Increase the deposit to make that worse.

Then have 90% due , without any commercial certainty of getting any revenue at all before Nov22.
Meaning the 10% gets left hi and dry.

If there was other interest , then fine , they can buy the 90% - but there will not be.
So a Fudge will ensue.
Probably another $500k to extend the deadline.
Something that the TOM shareholders can stump up for.... ad infinitum.

Remember this is going to take at least 2 years because there is a 2 year "option" to use the derelict plant......

Another week without the third drill result. I will not look back at the informal time table.

One or two posters on the other thread still believe a financing package is imminent. My guess is that around Nov 22 TOM will announce a fudge on the 90%.

Talais, they have to get something out the ground first to start the cash generation. The only option for cash is the drilling and it is not clear to me how they are going to extract the crude. 1dutchman has made some comments above which suggest that he is familiar with the processes, he also points out the significant risk/technical difficulty.

Unless I am missing something the nano sponges are for processing. That is the least of TOM's worries.

I think the next news has to be the Exploration drilling well results.

I wonder if they are waiting for funding confirmation as they cannot give the drill dates for production until funding is secured.

Try reading some time, they are already using it. And will be using nano sponge in their plant in Utah,

I quoted the other day , which business on the market with turnover a balance sheet and profits you could buy with just TOM's accumulated losses to date

Imagine what business could be bought today if anyone wanted to chuck their $175m at it.

Hi Goulding, we have had company news on 1st April and a operational update four weeks ago (10th March ;) ).

Hardly a lack of news and most companies would bite your hand off for the news flow Tomco have had over the last few months. .

1dutchman - the idea that despite there being oil in the ground , getting it out would be difficult and expensive makes a lot of sense when you add in they are using 10 year old data to decide to test drill.

Clearly its been known about for a long time and if it was not commercially feasible before , bear in mind the previous owners of the land have lost $100m , then why should a one man band with no funds of their own, no tech of their own find it any more commercial now ?

There has to be a reason in the delay of information, I don’t necessarily mean a negative reason, but a positive reason needs to be damn good.

by seowerkzOctober 12, 202122 likesNano sponge technology might be the most important scientific development you've never heard of.Currently in use in a variety of applications, this technology is poised to change the face of clean energy solutions and environmental remediation. In addition to remediation processing centers and other proprietary technologies, Vivakor is using the nano sponge to continue our push for a circular carbon economy. What Is a Nano Sponge?Nanosponges are a form of nanoparticle (ultra fine particles) that resemble the structure of a natural sponge. The three-dimensional structure of the nanosponge results in tiny interior cavities, into which other molecules can be placed. In this way, nano sponges can be used to carry molecules to another location or to hold them until the molecules can be processed or treated in some manner. The structure of nanosponge can be manipulated in such a way that it will "dump" its molecule content on command or at a designed time during an involved process. How Does Nano Sponge Technology Work? These minute particles have the ability to thermally conduct microwaves. Once hydrocarbons become enmeshed in the nano sponge, low-energy microwaves are applied. The resulting thermal reaction essentially refines the heavy crude hydrocarbons by cracking their chain structure. The outcome is an upgraded carbon product – such as petroleum or gasoline – that can then be monetized and put to use for other needs. As a result, the hydrocarbons become upgraded into a different, usable materialIn the medical community, this technology is being used to deliver highly targeted and precise drug dosages. In the world of soil remediation and environmental cleanup, this technology is being leveraged to transform recovered hydrocarbons.Using the Nano Sponge to Upgrade HydrocarbonsContaminated soils and tar sands pose a significant clean up challenge. Hydrocarbon particles are especially difficult to extract. Most methods of accomplishing this goal are expensive, time-consuming and largely ineffective. However, when nano sponges are inserted into soil contaminated with tar or heavy crude, they can move through the material quickly and without becoming trapped. As they move, they have the ability to literally collect heavy crude hydrocarbon molecules and store them. After thermally treating the molecules with microwaves, the resulting upgraded hydrocarbons can be collected, contained and repurposed for the desired use.Vivakor is proud to have acquired this proprietary technology. In conjunction with our cavitation hydrocarbon upgrader (CHU) and remediation processing center (RPC) technology, we are quickly becoming better able to recapture and repurpose hydrogen forms of environmental contamination. This minimizes the need for new fossil fuel generation and helps put us on the path to a true circular carbon economy.

This is the method they might use!!! They said the leftover co2 can be put back into the well, but if you look at Vivakor new technology Nano sponge which will be used in there new plant in Utah, it can change co2 and waste products in to fuels,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjZIgGKolekhttps://vivakor.com/nano-sponge/

Stuart, the last XTR RNS was slightly different and in my mind the first en route to preparation for sale. Not sure if the price increase is loyal troops investing in this year's ISA or the buyer of a few weeks back.

1d - TOM need the drilling to have any chance of financing anything in the business. I am absolutely uncertain what this extraction technology entails and that is because little has been said about it.

Frankly the drilling/extraction is the easy part of the narrative for TOM. It then gets substantially harder.

This is what led me previously to predict that we would likely get a release with lots of barrels but some woolly words around the process. Or perhaps I am wrong and Steve Byle has yet another new technology? If so, it would still need to be proven. Or perhaps it’s all sweetness and light and we are just missing the full information. I guess only time will tell.

So the delays could very well be around the production process itself. It makes little sense to release a report saying there are x million barrels of oil in the dirt under TS2 if one doesn’t have a proven way of producing that oil. Both the State (for permitting) and the competent person (eg, Netherland and Sewell) would need to be confident that oil can be produced before licenses and CPRs would be produced.

Good question, Diddy. As far as I have seen, there has only been vague information released on the production process. Please advise if I have missed something. I have heard it described as CO2 injection, which is typically a tertiary recovery process. I also recall a reference to steam flood (SAGD), which is widely used producing heavy oil or oil from tar sands. CO2 injection only works in certain formations and it is unclear whether it would work in Vernal. However, it is used for tertiary recovery in nearby Western Colorado where it is delivered by pipeline. But how does one get CO2 to the wellhead in Vernal?. Throughout the Permian and in the afore-mentioned Colorado fields, there are pipelines feeding the CO2 from an industrial source. These pipelines are very costly and so will only work where there is a large development (which is why it is usually only used in tertiary recovery, eg, the field has gone through primary and secondary recovery phases and all of the infrastructure is in place and fully amortized). To use it on a few remote wells in Vernal would be cost prohibitive, unless there is a nearby natural source (and drilling for natural CO2 these days is generally frowned upon). There are also challenges associated with SAGD, which is just what it says on the label – it requires a lot of water to create the steam process, and the leftover effluent is pretty nasty stuff. Look at the environmental issues raised around the Canadian tar sands. If one gets past those challenges, the remaining challenge is to actually find adequate quantities of water in the Utah desert.
