Perhaps Valkor put up the money for the placing. They are buying all the time on this area of Utah.

I haven't decided what I'm doing here yet. I don't panic. I see no reason to sell at .50 today. The placing will underpin that once things settle. (It might pop under the placing temporarily) I might however slowly move away over the coming weeks..still to be decided. I generally invest via placings rather than in the market but will do you the courtesy of taking a look. :-)

SL, I don't like to tout/ramp on other boards but XTR is looking to be in a nice position if you have losses to recover. For avoidance of doubt I am invested in that one.

Firstly I'm never influenced by bulletin boards in my investing. I do ok! :-) I don't see the deeps as a shift in strategy, the longer term strategy still quoted as at play. However - a large, respected holder who has supported this company (in placings) for years told me last week no placing was planned. I know they are not at all happy today. It's the contempt shown to them that I find most worrying. It opens up a can of worms....

The question now is just how credible is the drilling. If it is then there will be life. I have kept on mentioning the radical change in strategy (drilling deeper reserves) and in my experience radical changes are always difficult to achieve.

Online 0.5063p buy and 0.509p sell foe 1 Mill.

I don't think the margin is big enough to do a sell and buy back trade and make money.

Rmart, this is why their need be no panic, as every placing done has had warrants attached, but not this time.
Still I wanted the price down for my PQE payout and add to TOM

You would think that the owner of the new shares knows what he / she is doing.

If it had been our Broker touting his clients for money I would feel less positive.

I think an unsolicited windfall that TOMco / Grout could not say no to.

I think it was done without John P's approval. Just a [silly] guess.

If you cannot see what is happening or do not trust, then sell up, simples.

I see permits within a few weeks, drilling immediate on receipt, then the production wells and at least 500 bopd before end q3.

Before that I see the full funding in place.

Kill me later if i'm wrong.

exactly Ducky, who are Monecor? They are not the company brokers so this money was offered to them by someone. IMO a large Petroteq holder who knows something.

It is too out of the blue. No placing was planned but when someone knocks on your door with £1.25m after expenses at just 19% discount with no warrants what do you do?
