I had hoped that by now the NSAI report would have appeared on the Tomco website as indicated at the end of the RNS - but with no great expectation. No doubt it will appear in time.
It should remove any doubt, as has been expressed on here already, that the 3P reserves include the deeper Rim Rock oil sands under Tract D which the wells will target. I am 100% certain that they do - the 2013 Norwest report gives the "Combined In-place resources" for both tracts as 44.686 mmbbls compared with the new report 3P reserves at 44.322 mmbbls. They will have used the same raw data - there has been nothing new since 2013

A few small buys but with the lack of the key RNS wary holders will start to sell into any signs of strength.

Time running out on the placing.

Just a thought but in the podcast in Nov was JP trying to enthuse the market by overclaiming (exploration wells in Dec). If so it did not work.

The only way this whole model will survive is if there is exploitable oil below the tar sands, and they can finance the drilling. You cannot criticise for the carpe diem of JP. It would beg the question why the previous owner did not drill if it is so easy.

In my view if the drilling works - why stop there, join the E&P gang and drop the hard stuff.

Great numbers on the reserves, another important hurdle navigated on the project timeline but safe to say that the market will not move until news on either financial closure on the funding for the CORT plant, or confirmation that the initial 5 wells are producing.

Why buy if you do not need to buy it?

Is there an insolvency clause in the licence?

Yep the deal is 29% of Tom.
But at that point I can see a consolidation of shares yet again and a placing.
If Viton want tom out of the way it will be a takeover like PQE.
And at a poultry 10p a share they would get it.

You have to follow the twists of this logic, but the conclusion must be that the more potential there is in the PQE technology, the more likely that TOM will 'disappear'.

Viston are buying PQE, presumably for the technology. PQE were short of cash and sold an open North American licence to Greenfield. Viston have cash and one would think that they would want tighter control of the licence sold cheaply by PQE. If that logic stands and the technology is as good as it is made out to be in lalaland, then surely Viston would want TOM out of the way. The potential white knight, Valkor, need PQE/Viston more than they need TOM, which seems to indicate the more successful the technology, the more likely that TOM will be kebabbed.

Again shareholders need to understand precisely what terms were agreed in the Valkor loan which becomes due in May (?) or was it earlier? Shareholders also need to understand why this simple permit has not materialised, and why as Vauch pointed out 'all' of the issues need financing.

You may be sure - but they RNS'd its going to be commercial arms length.
Valkor committed to work on the plant with Petroteq - they did nothing with it until later when TOM came along and stumped up $1.5m

How much did it Cost Valkor - how much was labour how much was profit ?

Mates , ha ha.

Had they not released some news this week i think the share price would have dropped further. Tom needs very good news to get the share price up where as it drops easily.

They need the finance to see the real change, simple as that.
Little bits of good news like this helps to halt the drop.

The writing is on the wall. Fortunately for JP there is a loyal group of backers who may stick with him whatever. It's all about what JP doesn't tell you that counts. Maybe he is losing faith in himself but has to let this drag on and on for obvious reasons.
