they said 2 to 3 weeks in the 10th sept video above. That gives them to 28th or end of month would be ok.

News is about to break. I am waiting, whilst the dark side see the need to deramp every day on the other thread. PATHETIC bunch.

No trades is probably an outcome for TOM. 10 days to go and who will blink first?

Having said that , they should try and accept...
they could always sue Amigo afterwards for failing to do the "affordability test"

Does TOM alone have the financial and technical resources to take the project forward? Is it just too big a task in which case is the Board having a last minute rethink?

A lender would have to weigh up the risk of the project not working as intended, a la all those that have gone before.

If it goes ahead it cannot seek financial help from its partner Valkor , who are backing out and instead getting "tradeable" holding in Tom.

This has been touted as a good thing - I believe it means there are less available resources if push comes to shove and more risk.

Now they say it will likely take until the year end before a decision - that's a can kicked nicely down the road.....

By then will the markets be spooked ?

In the meantime spend $1.7m on a non-returnable deposit ?
Or $300k more on non- returnable option fees ?

Starting to look like a spin of the wheel.....

IT is wholly wrong to leave a project of this magnitude to one person in UTAH. Alongside should be a team of technical and project management experts - it is ludicrous to have a fleet of non execs in UK whilst JP is on his tod. Right from the start this has been a serious issue and no doubt contributed to earlier delays etc.
The chairman in whom investors have to place ultimate trust should have stopped this nonsense and is possibly a reason for the various board changes earlier. How many times has a non exec been over to assist JP and look at the plant, proposed site etc.
Also there seem to be a number of consultants involved - what are their briefs and costs.

Lopo, this is at the heart of the problem. I do not blame JP, he is a one man band and with the best will in the world you cannot be technical guru on the plant, legal guru on the land, financing guru on the financing etc etc. That will be the stumbling block that the finance companies face. Even if the FEED demonstrates the logic, this is a substantial decision at the point of sign off, which to my mind will be a mountain and not a mole hill.
