You need to understand what a Ponzi scheme is. They do not just exist in financial pyramid investments. The basic ruse is one of a confidence trick. It is the story that is the lure. The story becomes evermore extravagant as the scheme becomes evermore detached from reality and financial cohesion. More money is sought at an ever faster pace. The promises become more and more outlandish as more money is required to prop up the crumbling reality. Now look at a TOM. It is nothing more than a shell company. One functional employee. No offices, no skills, no assets. It has raised @£10m in 2 years and spent it all without generating any value and not a cent in revenue. It has a wild idea that it can generate oil if only it can find a spare $200m. Please try and look dispassionately at the facts. You are on a spiral to oblivion.

Really, well the test MSRA is awaiting export after the calculation have been done so I cant see it sitting their for another 2 years.
If they do get the go-ahead for another 6 months then while using sand from site 2 they will definitely run the MSAR tests to see if it is viable without disrupting the new plant when up and running.

Can you not see that yet again your beloved TOM has disastrously failed to achieve its aim. They are walking down expectations and still they cannot meet their own pitiful targets. It was firstly 500bopd, then it was 250 in 12 hours, now it is 250 a day and after a year, and all this delay and fettling still can only squeeze 180 in a day and you do not know if this was a one off (which it will have been) or every day. This is not a commercial operation. You all seem to have discounted the cost to eke out this drizzle. To read the absolute tosh such as old Vauch claiming the '... market does not like winners...' should make you realise your collective delusion. This is on a one way path to oblivion. It will never get the finance it states it needs because it cannot and will not be able to demonstrate commercialised rates and cost of production.

The markets AND the board - both do not find favour with TOM as the dip shows. Will the chairman do anything - wholly unlikely and he should go with his non execs colleagues.

Vauch,

There is no rush to incorporate MSAR into the current plant design, that can happen much later if required.

They have gathered all necessary data for the FEED which means there will be no MSAR data included, the FEED will be about proving commerciality with the Tar Sands II ore data as it is. If FEED can demonstrate the design and scale are viable and that the current oil has a market, then any advancement to the quality of the oil in future through using MSAR will be considered a bonus. For now it is about proof of concept to satisfy lenders and they are not going to delay that by waiting on QFI lab results and then MSAR components being integrated into POSP. I suspect that if the QFI analysis of the oil is favourable Greenfield will then consider incorporating MSAR into their own plant when being constructed and not before.

Seems the markets don't like winners.
But the crucial news will be around 30th June, when we know if we are running the plant for a further 6 months.
Then we will know if Quadris will be tested on a live run

“ Yes I do agree the bod could have/should have had the share price up to around 2p by now”

I read the same post from this tipster few years ago with “20p” and few years before that “£2”

This must be a very good poster tipster.

I was pleased with today's rns BUT I think the market was upset that the 250 barrels
a day expected was short by 70 barrels. Hence the share price fall today.

On the bright side I see our share price going up when the 250 barrels is achieved
in the near future.

At least we do know Greenfield has a good income and that their is a market for our sand. DF

By the way the chairman is a shareholder in GS TECHNOLOGIES LTD - a company of which he is a director - so why not TOM PLC. Or is there a problem here?

NOW if the non executive chairman buys shares in TOM THIS WEEK it is just possible that the share value will react positively to his show of confidence.

From QuadriseGreat update from @TomcoEnergyPLC today on Greenfield, confirming that a sample of produced oil will be shipped to us before the end of June so we can assess the suitability of the heavy sweet oil produced by the POSP for our emulsion process ? londonstockexchange.com/news-article/T... #QFI

Hi rmart, cannot blâme wording or content on this one. Just my opinion, but the way that Petroteq have been blowing their own trumpet, I suspect that SOME TOM shareholders have switched to PQE. Also, once finance is arranged with no capital raising, it will clear up any doubts that this is a go-go operation. Just waiting for the pre-FEED results, and the doubters will return, when they see PQE’S DEBT. AIMHO

The chairman and non execs have to convince the market they know what they are doing.
So far they have failed admirably.

Dear me. I wonder where the little sanctimonious twerp is today. The term 'deramper' is such a juvenilely banal word to use for someone who takes an opposing view. I do not ramp nor deramp as I have no interest in the share price other than a calibration of the foolishness of you lot. Also, please do not think I am arguing. That would imply that there is some point of agreement to be reached, but you cannot successfully argue with fools as they will, to paraphrase a famous line, simply '...beat you with experience...'. You sir are a fool masquerading as a competent adult. You will probably reflect these words back at me, but of course the simplest objectivity will tell you that anyone owning this tosh as an 'investment' is a few bod short of a crown. Silly boy. All done now. Deluge of more cheap shares on the way. Today's performance is yet more for you to suck up!!
