Reichsmart on the other thread : 'You do the calculations on a 5,000 bopd plant.'

Just as a sense check:

As ever health warning on the assumptions. Currently they have generated 250 Barrels in just under 6 months. The assumption is 5000 bopd.

Secondly 7500 Tonnes/day of sand from a 5000 bopd plant. In perspective that is a truck every 4.8 minutes. Where physically is the fracking market and what tonnage pa does it require.

If the market is so great why bother with the oil?

so we get around $120 for the sand per barrel of oil and maybe $70 for the oil ? That is incredible if correct.

edit ...

Apparantly we get WTI +$6 to $8 per barrel so currently around $75 per barrel. We are touching an equivalent of $200 income per barrel of oil produced including the sand.

$200 x 250 barrels per day = $9m dollars over the next 6 months.

If they get the 10,000 bopd plant running it is $2m per day!

I think it is the ‘herd’. They are used to TOM’S fluctuations. They have their own web-site. When TOM GOT TO 16-17%. And buying slowed, word went , start buying bring the share price down, and you will get another go soon.

Because basically, anyone that is a value investor and knows TOM, will Not sell on this news. Just my opinion of course. If a large seller would correct me with why to sell now. I would be pleased to hear.

from 'Helpful' over at the other site...

I have been in PQE for more than three years, taken part in a couple of the fund raisings and taken part in the last three TOMCO fund raisings. I have done Zoom calls with Potter, Alex, Steve and Coby. I reckon I am pretty up to speed on the the position with regards to the sand. I could even tell you who the offtaker for the sand is and that their distribution facility is 2 miles away from PQE's plant. They supply drilling muds and fracking sands throughout Utah and indeed have their own fracking sand mine.

Most of the fracking sand used in Utah comes from Wisconsin: it takes a little over 24 hours to drive, if you drive non-stop. In Utah the big issue is water use permits: they are hard to get and expensive. A few sand mines have been turned down because of the water permits.

PQE has already put out RNSs stating that the sand has been tested and that the split is 80%/20% fracking sand v construction sand. The likely pricing is $80/ton for the fracking sand and $20/ton for the construction sand. The crush strength of the sand has been tested at over 8,000. Taking water permit costs in Utah into account and the transport costs from Wisconsin, the sand from AR will be competitive.

The sand output is about 1.5/1.74 tons per barrel of oil dependent on the hydro carbon content of the sand. You do the calculations on a 5,000 bopd plant.

it is bizarre Goulding, all I can think is they are filling big orders. Makes no sense otherwise.

Maybe another big buy will be reported after close.

I am amazed at the sells today. This rns is transformational. TOM are going to start making cash, through sand and oil sales. First time ever.

Subject to the pilot results and the FEED, Greenfield will develop a new 10,000 bopd plant – comprising two 5,000 bopd trains – utilising design improvements and knowledge gained from the POSP pilot.

10,000 bopd at $90 including sand = $900,000 per day ! Yes PER DAY.

Market cap under £10m is laughable.

Vauch, thanks for that. I also hold TSX:PQE through HL but seems I cannot trade USOTC:PQEFF with them. Following yesterday and with the German exchanges up a further 20-30% again today it may just go a bit mental.

If they get the lease extension and ramp up to 5000 bopd, and that my generous price of $100 is accurate. That is revenue of $70 (after costs) giving $350000 per day. Over 6 months is about $60 million dollars. Finance no problem.

Wake up sellers you are throwing money away by selling.
