I have a theory about investing.

SP goes up = Happy.
SP goes down = Sad.
SP stays the same = booooorrrring.

Yesterday, I decided to ditch all those Tomco shares I bought many years ago. Just to tidy the portfolio up - hated being reminded of all that money I lost. Gutted now. If I hung on 24 hours, I could have had another £6.

Ducky #19185

The main reason there was no progress update on the last Tomco RNS has already been explained by Fishyneck in a post yesterday.

Greenfield were informed by DOGM of their decision late on Tuesday afternoon Utah time, which was about 9pm U.K. time. In order to get an RNS out on the U.K. stock market in a timely manner i.e. 07:00am yesterday morning, the brief RNS containing the DOGM decision was written up and approved by the Nomad for release. Tomco would have been slaughtered by some (especially the more impatient on here) if this decision had not been reported on time.

As for other reasons why there was no progress update attached to the last RNS...

Let’s just imagine, that in the downtime of the CO and when the DOGM decision was still unknown, you would like to think that a competently run company would be evaluating all possible scenarios going forward from whatever the DOGM decision would be.

Let’s further imagine that great strides were then taken to achieve certain crucial project milestones in that period of downtime right up until being informed of the DOGM decision on Tuesday afternoon. Things that already make George Stapleton’s press release outdated. Things that George Stapleton is obviously not aware of in his rush to put news out to pander to a 3rd party interest.

Let’s just imagine that those things are in the process of being finalised as we speak and being formulated into an up to date, factual and coherent RNS soon to be released. I mean, why issue a progress update on a Wednesday morning when you know it would be changing dramatically over the next few days?

Rmart,

Contrary to what you or others may think, they will be happy that the share price is rising.

Ducky,

I can’t possibly answer your question because:

1. I do not know for sure who is behind the offer.

2. No purchase of PQE has happened as yet.
