29/4/2021 12:47 | Whilst the Directors should be heavily criticised, it may be their long silence is down to the fact that they have reservations over Valkor's recent plant engineering skills in relation to POSP and the likely outcome. Crunch time is just hours away so uncertainty should be removed in a few days. | ![]() lopodop
29/4/2021 12:26 | Yes, both would of course be better. | ![]() freedom97
29/4/2021 12:22 | I'd encourage them to do both but Twitter would be more far reaching. fn | ![]() fishyneck
29/4/2021 12:22 | Far more people see Twitter than company websites | rmart
29/4/2021 12:20 | Far better if they just update their website with photos & videos plus some info. | ![]() freedom97
29/4/2021 12:03 | I gave the Twitter discussion some thought last night and I have changed my stance. I can now see it as a very useful conduit between the BOD's and shareholders, for very little effort. Nobody will be expecting new news or price sensitive info but we all have a vested interest in the operations on the ground, so lets see them. Let's see the digger digging ore, a video of the plant working, barrels of oil, a word from our new NED, Steve Byle having his lunch...lets just engage shareholders into the project they have invested. If, as we believe, this project is turning a corner then now is the time to build a stronger relationship between the Board and its shareholders. Trust and respect between the two has to be beneficial for all parties. I hope the next week or so will be a turning point for a much maligned Board and its weary shareholders! fn | ![]() fishyneck
29/4/2021 11:48 | I see PQE up 8.3%, and QFI up 3.2%both rises based info that the POSP is producing oil, that has to be right as TOM said it was switched on, nothing about oil flow though. Wake up Tommy. | ![]() goulding1215
29/4/2021 09:51 | Goulding 1215 You refer to 2 shareholders advising the Board? | ![]() lopodop
29/4/2021 09:42 | seeing as Stupot has gone and he cant tell me off, can I give you a tip off, CRCL, it looks like moving to the next leg up. Just sayin. Just take a look whilst we all wait for TOM to take off. | rmart
29/4/2021 09:00 | not much on there with factual info yet, just a general feeling of expectation in the next few weeks from a few tweeters, seems that TOM is once again gaining some interest. | rmart
29/4/2021 08:59 | After yesterday, I now have a lot of confidence in TOM.We have got 2 very successful business men with large TOM holdings advising the BOD how to improve now that we finally have oil flowing through THE POSP. Flow Rates will be forthcoming.. | ![]() goulding1215
29/4/2021 08:19 | Who are you following Rmart for best info? | shaunx
29/4/2021 08:09 | Bit of a buzz on Twitter about Tom, it’s bubbling up. | rmart
28/4/2021 19:14 | Not a clue that you are all been promised the after life, which is dark and cold , or in rmart world hot and burning | ![]() wilson2
28/4/2021 17:38 | freedom, That is exactly what they are intending to do. | ![]() damac
28/4/2021 17:23 | I think TomCo will wait a week or so before reporting on oil production until they are sure the flow is steady, as no good saying we've produced X amount of oil within 3 days... and then the production goes down. We want to see steady but increasing production. | ![]() freedom97
28/4/2021 17:17 | Petroteq have been skint for ages . Maybe they are looking to raise money therefore need to be more upbeat and mention the production. I still stand by tomco not mentioning production until it's at a reasonable sustained level being the responsible way forward. | ![]() fishyneck
28/4/2021 16:52 | Also, take a look at the 2 announcements which are the same news. Tomco : Greenfield is pleased to report that this additional equipment has now been successfully installed and tested, and the POSP is again operational. Petroteq : Petroteq Energy Announces That Production of Oil From its Oil Sands Plant has Recommenced After Implementing Certain Process Enhancements Fine Tuning of Plant Systems For Continuous Operation Is Underway The required additional equipment has now been successfully installed and tested, and the POSP is again producing oil. then a positive statement from the COO. I just don't get it with TOM, everything is just so downbeat. Lets hope that changes from here on in. | rmart
28/4/2021 16:38 | Exactly and like i've said (a few times now) they are looking to use Twitter to keep us up to date with progress now that the progress is real and exciting - increased production etc.....As shareholders we sometimes feel powerless but I guess this is something we could get behind and encourage the company to see through. I'm happy with that. fn | ![]() fishyneck
28/4/2021 16:35 | I am a bit like tou fishy when it comes to Twitter. However, many companies now do this on a regular basis. It keeps shareholders in the loop. Lengthy silences are unbearable to shareholders because, psychologically, they fear the worst. This was seen last year, when negotiations were ongoing for the Greenfield. Weeks and months went by, and sells kept dripping down the share price a tweet every week would have sustained the sp, and the placing would have been at a higher share price that is the past. Now is a perfect opportunity for TOM to tweet or rns that the POSP is producing oil, moving to 5000 bopd, exactly as Petroteq have stated, as it is no longer price sensitive. Thanks to PQE. Look at QFI’s sp, purely on the TOM rns. I realise that TOM may have Nomad issues. | ![]() goulding1215
28/4/2021 16:29 | Fair point, but they have now haven't they? The enhancements have worked, oil is flowing, production numbers will improve, it will work in winter, etc. So now is the time to tell the world. Lets see what old Tommy do. | rmart
28/4/2021 16:24 | Tomco hasn't had a successful project to date to drive the share price. I can obviously understand how a Twitter campaign would bring in shareholders and improve the price but ultimately a successful posp trial and the associated newsflow will improve the look of the share price. Tweets or no tweets. In my old fashioned view! :-) | ![]() fishyneck
28/4/2021 16:16 | FISHY, People trade and invest based on what they find on twitter. Sometimes you may get a spike because people trade it, but some of those buying in will stick and so the share price drops back but settles at a higher level than previous. Then it goes again and so on, slowly driving the market cap to a reasonable level. The alternative is what we have had at tomco for years. | rmart
28/4/2021 16:10 | We get more info from Petroteq and Quadris than our own company. | ![]() vauch
28/4/2021 16:09 | Like I said earlier I am not a twitter user and I am still to be convinced of its use in long term AIM investing. I mean, do people really base investing decisions on the companies twitter habits these days? But as you said times are a changing so maybe myself and Tomco need to catch up. I am absolutely in favour of any means that stops shareholders from guessing and mis-information taking hold, as should the company be. fn. | ![]() fishyneck |
