Sorry , disagree, shareholders/new investors need to see the progress. I am not saying put anything out that is not already out. Just back up what is out. Other companies use twitter to keep shareholders updated/interested.

If Tom are saying they don't want to do that then I will be out again in a flash like many others. They just don't get it. We live in modern times not with 3 channel tv's anymore ! :-)

Rmart,

The share price and subsequent market cap needs to portray progress on site otherwise it is just a ramped spike that will be used to punish the company and potentially create more disgruntled shareholders. It's not what 'the city' wants to see either.

I agree the board needs to find a way to regularly update shareholders on the production/site progress outside of official RNS's. I know it is something they are working on with the Nomad. Hopefully they will find a solution that builds a relationship with shareholders new and old.

Its not hard, they have a few mill in the bank, give me the job, I will take the share price to 5p on twitter alone ! They simply do not realise its value.

It'll still be bumpy rmart I'm sure and I'm not one for throwing share price predictions out but once they get this plant to 250 barrels and above it opens the door to some sustained newsflow, interviews, tweets etc over the coming months.....and yes I hope lessons have been learned from the previous years and they find a way to improve shareholder relations.

It would have been a worked (all or nothing) sale of the overall total amount in the 25 trades. The broker arranging the trades but not executing them until he had assurances that he could sell the total amount for the client.

Production of Oil From its Oil Sands Plant
has Recommenced After Implementing
Certain Process Enhancements
Fine Tuning of Plant Systems For Continuous Operation Is Underway
SHERMAN OAKS, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 28, 2021 /Petroteq Energy Inc. ("Petroteq"
or the "Company") (TSXV:PQE) (OTC:PQEFF) (FSE:PQCF), an integrated oil company
focused on the development and implementation of its proprietary oil-extraction
technologies, is pleased to announce that its oil sands plant at Asphalt Ridge (the "POSP")
has been restarted after a shutdown to allow for certain additional enhancements that were
required to be made to the POSP in order to allow for a more efficient and optimised
extraction process. The required additional equipment has now been successfully installed
and tested, and the POSP is again producing oil.
George Stapleton, Petroteq's COO, commented: "After optimizing the extraction process
following initial plant start-up, we determined that certain equipment additions would improve
not only the process of extracting bitumen from the oil sands ore but also the removal of clay
fines from produced oil. The required equipment has now been installed and commissioned,
and we expect that the projected improvement in operating efficiencies will help support the
third-party review of the commerciality of the extraction process. We will look to fine-tune the
various plant systems with the view to increasing production rates and, if warranted by
operational and economic conditions, moving to a two-shift operation. Much has been
learned from operation of this demonstration plant and all of these lessons learned are now
being incorporated into the Front End Engineering Design ("FEED") of a 5,000 barrel per day
("BPD") production train, which is currently underway

It's all hypothetical but if Tomco had added to yesterdays RNS. "plant is now on and producing oil" as PQE have just said but not added any associated figures they would have probably been hammered.

"how much oil? why haven't they said etc etc".

Damned if you do.... The strategy to get the plant up to a decent level before announcing production is, in my opinion, the right way to go. Not long to wait.

Rmart,

I can echo what Damac said earlier, I believe the use of Twitter will increase ( :-) ) once the plant is producing consistent meaningful amounts. Suppose they could have put some photos of heaters being fitted etc but they have chosen to wait until meaningful news and progress can be portrayed. I'm not a user of Twitter and am not convinced of its worth with AIM investing, I see it as a way of causing short term spikes. However I am by nature a techno dinosaur so maybe I'll reserve further judgement until I see it in action.
