27/9/2023 09:25 | Zeus aren't afraid to pump a POS stock normally , with numerous dreadful IPOs in their past. But even they don't seem to be able to muster any enthusiasm in their commissioned broker note this morning .... | nchanning
27/9/2023 08:03 | Reasonable start | volsung
26/9/2023 16:33 | Yes, I read the stocko review earlier on this afternoon. Said this year has been a disaster but remains a possible turnaround. Some buyers coming in later on in the day but I did notice a few sizeable trades go through earlier on. What looked like possible institution offloading. Expect we’ll get some RNS tomorrow. | angersharkz
26/9/2023 15:56 | I like stockos view on this which is that a turnaround is possible so I’ve stuck another wedge of cash in the abyss | volsung
26/9/2023 15:08 | The guidance for cash at year end hasn’t changed still expected to be between $10-$20m so I wouldn’t expect it necessary to draw the credit facility…..but it is there if needed. Although it would certainly be preferable to remain debt free if possible. The wording in the half year report centres around addressing costs so I can’t see them burning through as much cash in H2 but we’ll have to wait and see come the year end report. Alex will have to shape himself pronto and turn things around…..TBLD has had loss making years before and turned things around so he’ll have to do it again. | angersharkz
26/9/2023 14:45 | Given they've burnt their way through $12m of cash in the first six months, and costs are escalating at a horrific rate, wouldn't bank on them not drawing down their CF.At least the CEO hadn't given his wife $148k dividend this H1. | disc0dave46
26/9/2023 13:53 | ‘there is no floor for where this stuff could trade.’ Well, there is a floor it could trade at, it could go to 0p. Given that the share price is currently about 8p it doesn’t have a great deal further to fall. With a market cap now of just £16m ish you would effectively be buying free money if the company can hold on to the $20m net cash by December this year. Plus there is a revolving undrawn credit facility of $35m which will give the company some breathing room over the next 12-18 months to address current issues. The market currently values all company IP’s and titles at $0…..and on that basis I picked up my last trench of these this morning and will let it ride until the fat lady sings. | angersharkz
26/9/2023 11:17 | Always be wary jumping into a sector when its been red hot. Some of us oldtimers remember the first time around with videogame companies - EID,RGE,WHOG,SEG,AGT that all crashed and burned in the early 2000s. This rapid downturn in the gaming sector was inevitable after the insane euphoria during the pandemic. Utter junk like this and DEVO being floated (and founders cashing in at the IPO) should have been ample warning to investors who have seen it time and again across multiple sectors. | phowdo
26/9/2023 10:55 | Hahaha Kemche. Best comment of the day by far! | catabrit
26/9/2023 10:51 | Scurrilous rumour doing the rounds that they will soon rebrand as Tinymarketcap. | kemche
26/9/2023 10:38 | This will breach new lows. There’s zero point owning it. It was always likely heading lower. The business model is super challenging, as is the sector. And that, combined with safe six percent yield available on your cash, makes this a very hard sell in the current market. All this stuff will eventually trade like options and that’s when you want to buy a basket of them. Much like the resource or commodity stocks that were heading to the moon post the GFC and subsequently tanked in 2015 and 2016. We’re in early to mid-innings across the board for loads of trashy businesses like this one. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and I genuinely hope I’m wrong. I’m not short but one glance of this and many others and you can just tell where the puck is going. It’s just logic / math. Unless you’ve got a resilient revenue profile or some sort of hard asset backing to protect the probable downside, there is no floor for where this stuff could trade. It will ebb and flow as people make some speculative punts but for long term investors who care about principal, this and multiple others just doesn’t cut it. Anyway, that’s my two cents’ worth. | catabrit
