I am new to equity investing, and looking at some names in UK including Tinybuild as a potential, as it has decent cash relative to its market cap. However one of the things on 2022 annual report looked odd is bank interest ($64k) it received in 2022 on ending cash balance of $26.5m. This equates to 0.24%, which looks low to me as bank interest rates were a bit higher in 2022, but am not sure how much rest of the UK companies report. I am not looking for Tinybuild to make fantastic money from bank interest rates, but was just trying to do a sense check of cash position, as I have heard there is a bit of wild west in AIM. Is it me overthinking here ?

Well done to the day traders who jumped in and out.Unfortunately I'm not one of them and am a sucker in this particular share.As I've written before - this biz has a decent and unique proposition, but the leadership and commercial acumen seems to be lacking.A humble CEO would step down to become more of a managing COO, get a credible CFO and work on immediately slashing costs and headcount. If they do something like this, then they can slowly rebuild and who knows.If they don't, then they'll run out of cash at some point in the next 1.5 to 3years and investors will get nothing. I'm already 80% down on the 10k I'd put in here, so maybe not worth cutting losses. But will look to see how they react to the situation they now find themselves in before deciding whether to take the beer money out or not. It's a sad and frustrating rollercoaster this one. kimchi1 - more like the CEO will take this private. He's basically told shareholders spending is out of control, FY23 and FY24 are going to sh1t, [so you should let me take it private and be happy with the 25p I'm willing to pay.]

I suppose its now ripe for a low-ball takeover from the USA at current distressed levels, assuming the CEO is willing to let it go ? Debt free. Titles such as Hello Neighbour etc. Re-invested some of my profits. GLA.

On admission Nichiporchik sold 32,998,328 shares raising £55.8m

If he offered a 25% premium to the existing current valuation he could take this private for £13m !!!!

MCAP £17m +25% premium = £21m * 62% (he does not already own) = £13m

You did well avoiding, I only had a very small spreadbet but closed that out at 21p on the bell (clearly could have been worse) I opened a new position at 6.5p and 5.5p.TBLD was never an investment it is purely an opportunist trade.
