Posted at 26/9/2023 14:08 by angersharkz The guidance for cash at year end hasn’t changed still expected to be between $10-$20m so I wouldn’t expect it necessary to draw the credit facility…..but it is there if needed. Although it would certainly be preferable to remain debt free if possible. The wording in the half year report centres around addressing costs so I can’t see them burning through as much cash in H2 but we’ll have to wait and see come the year end report. Alex will have to shape himself pronto and turn things around…..TBLD has had loss making years before and turned things around so he’ll have to do it again. |
Posted at 26/9/2023 13:45 by disc0dave46 Given they've burnt their way through $12m of cash in the first six months, and costs are escalating at a horrific rate, wouldn't bank on them not drawing down their CF.At least the CEO hadn't given his wife $148k dividend this H1. |

I see this investor has updated his research - an excellent read: kimchi1 - 16 Jul 2023 - 16:45:28 - 252 of 338 Tiny Build Games - TBLD " Tinybuild IPO price March 2021 £1.69. Started trading at £2.13p. " Current price 0.0975 Gotta love AIM, the laughing stock of the World's markets Hoping the CEO takes it private at 20-30p or a competitor buys it on the cheap as doubt any institutions will touch this now. Anyone else still holding ??? kimchi1 - 15 Jul 2023 - 08:54:57 - 251 of 338 Tiny Build Games - TBLD The CEO isn't doing himself any favours though ... kimchi1 - 14 Jul 2023 - 15:57:50 - 250 of 338 Tiny Build Games - TBLD Mostly buys this afernoon - still a few available at 9.75p currently. Hopefully bottom is in now. GLA. kimchi1 - 12 Jul 2023 - 14:20:21 - 249 of 338 Tiny Build Games - TBLD Catabrit - looking back it seems this was over-hyped at IPO with lots of positive media coverage. In the current climate we know how markets react to poor results coupled with uncertain outlooks. Especially in relation to AIM listed stocks. I have a sensible portfolio paying out very nice dividends, but occassionally like a gamble and this really seems to be pricing in the worst possible scenarios now. With an average of 10.66p I'd probably off-load a few at 20-30p though. Sadly I don't really consider anything on AIM suitable for long-term investing, it seems to only ever offer opportunities on crash stocks and post-fundraise situations. IMHO, DYOR, GLA. kimchi1 - 12 Jul 2023 - 12:30:29 - 246 of 338 Tiny Build Games - TBLD Some chunky 125K buys going through. @hatfullofsky - how likely is your suggestion of the CEO taking it private ? |

Posted at 29/6/2023 21:09 by hatfullofsky You did well avoiding, I only had a very small spreadbet but closed that out at 21p on the bell (clearly could have been worse) I opened a new position at 6.5p and 5.5p.TBLD was never an investment it is purely an opportunist trade. |
Posted at 29/6/2023 13:04 by hatfullofsky The results are awful and cover FY23 and FY24.At 8p TBLD are valued at £16m, they have confirmed cash at $10m / £8m at YE23 so they currently have and EV of £8m, which covers there whole back catalogue that generated FY22 Revenue $63m / FY21 $51m. I managed to buy some at 6.52 and 5.51 on a spreadbet, I am expecting the CEO to start buying or even take this private. Either way I don't believe we'll be under £20m for long. It's a pure trading opportunity |
Posted at 19/6/2023 12:43 by peddlers Ex dividend date ? Oops no dividend |
Posted at 16/6/2023 12:29 by disc0dave45 I sympathise with holders, watching these for a while now as looks so cheap. But as posted previously this sector is being shaken due to the possible negative impacts of AI and I'm still not convinced that without Luke the business is being taken in the right direction - their staff numbers and costs are frankly ridiculous (how can Alex appoint 50 new staff at a convention without any due diligence, unbelievable IMO).Until Alex starts buying stock, and there's no reason he can't despite his current holding, then I'm not interested tbh. Didn't like also that he's supporting his wife's income by granting £148k as a dividend to her.......are holders here getting any dividend?, big fat no.Then there's the question of has Goldman Sachs shorting ETF included TBLD?, or is it Luke offloading?, too many red flags for me at the moment. Sorry. |
