Jeepers creepers it is cold this morning. 6 degrees and damp. Sun is sort of trying to shine.

I would go for one which is at least 10 litres a day and quite a few available. B&Q seem to have a few reasonably priced ones, also Amazon have a lot. Afraid I cannot advise as all different to what was available when I bought mine.

I had the heating on last night but it only came down to 68%, humitity outside is high at the moment though

Turn the heating on. It's only for the next four months so if you divide the cost of a good humidifier by four you can take that cost of of the heating. LolThey range from £140 to £400 for the top three recommended on google.

That's incredible gates, my two had to be pulled out of bed on school mornings, to be fair they both did well but I don't know anyone who achieved seven A's very well done to her and you must be very proud

I understand there is a butter shortage, Jonners had better write on the motorhome

No butter is left in this vehicle overnight

Good Morning.

Just finished making another 150 grams of butter. Used the food mixer this time which makes it much easier so will try with a lot more cream next time. Works out about the same price as Tesco's cheap butter and a big saving on buying other butters and so much nicer.

Thanks for the congrats for my daughter, I will pass them on. She gets up at 6.30 in the week days and does extra homework before school. Clearly not normal behaviour for a teenager! Oh my goodness she's 17 years old this month, time flies!

Came back from shopping to find by 2 part clearcoat lacquer I ordered has been delivered but is not 2 part. Supplier sent the wrong product.

Went to Bury st Ed's yesterday to sent a last years Xmas gift card in Waterstones book shop. Managed to slip in to the Cornish pie shop for coffee AND A cherry and almond pastry. Then a good Thursday night meet up with friends so as to sort the world out. Conclusion was we are too old to worry about it. It ain't going to affect us much and if the Big Bang warning is given it's a deck chair in the garden with a nice tip-ply of choice. Whilst singing rule Britannia.

Sorry to hear of all the health battles, and we have been getting a bit worried about you as you suddenly went quiet. Glad you are back, and mending and congradulations to your daughter on exam results. 7 A's, wow, that is good.

Afternoon pub people It's been a tumultuous last few months, but it's so good to be able establish some routine and finally post here again.I went off on my travels to Spain in June & July. Mountains, hiking, sunshine, all was great.On return to Scotland, I had an accident hillwalking in the Highlands and seriously injured my knee, which is healing slowly.Whilst in hospital, I caught Covid, which affected breathing in a bad way.Some tough days, but am recovering well. Working on regaining my fitness.As everything returned to normal, my wife fell and broke her leg, which needed an operation.In between all that my daughter got 7 A's in her exams. She's a star!I'll have a beer and some Jaffa cakes please :)
